“Well, the honor of the Fieldwardens 100 match went to coach TheThinkTank & boy was it a dozy! An almost complete dicing save a lucky TTM TD. The highlights were a blitz kickoff result, on the Wardens 1st possession, stealing a quick 2nd TD for the Scorpions & then on the next possession, after the Wardens were laying the smack down, Quickbeam rumbled down field only to fall prey to a sneakily set pit trap & promptly gave up the ball & a 3rd TD! No matter how much smack the Wardens laid down the elfs keep coming back from KO's to a man & the halflings simply couldn't clear their heads in the KO box causing a serious shortage of players for the Wardens. Word is their coach snuck in some illegal EGH* based smelling salts & switched out ours w/ ordinary rock salt! An investigation is pending. On the bright side Capt. Souix earned his 48 casualty by way of a serious injury to Norwrath II & though he didn't score Quickbeam gained another 4 paces rushing to add to his impressive total. The lone TD belonged to 'Lucky' Luc, though he had a great shot at a second, after Quicky tossed him downfield to pick up a deeply fumbled elf pass, but he failed the pickup & his shot at a 2nd score ended.
