#8 Aggor Deathdrinker – Damaged Back (NI)
#12 Urgok Beard Burner – Fractured Arm (MNG)
#13 Basnak Elfchoppah – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
Third game in OLC Heavyweight Swiss.

This was a bloody match, as expected, but still a very interesting one. Right from the start Chaos claws went through orc armor as if it were butter and all three apothecaries failed (the team's own and two wandering). Nevertheless, we managed to inflict some hits and ko's as well and were never severely outnumbered.

We lost the ball halfway the first half, but managed to get it back one turn later (4+ dodge required on the blitz with a blodge black orc who smashed the ball loose). The ball landed in the hands of a blitzer, who ran in the 1-0 lead in turn 5. Chaos had major issues picking up the ball for the rest of the first half (three failed pick-ups in a row) and even the fourth time it only worked after spending the team's last reroll. But by that time it wasn't possible anymore to score.

The second half started with a deep kick in the opponent's backfield and a double rock thrown from the crowd, ko'ing a chaos warrior on the LoS. I was lucky my guy was only stunned. This time I managed to put some pressure on the ball, which was easier since Chaos had to score quickly to make a come-back in the game. After that rock, they were also down to 9 players. Still, taking down a ST5 Chaos Warrior isn't that obvious, but I was lucky that a 1d blitz was enough. The battle for the ball wasn't over when the same ST5 Chaos warrior blitzed and took the ball back. Next turn I managed a 3+ dodge to get 2d on the ball, which pretty much decided the game.

Greenskinz Play Ball won, but they suffered and are in bad shape after facing two very heavy clawpomb Chaos teams in a row. We're down to 1460 TV for the next match...

#3 Laughlin II – Fractured Arm (MNG)
This is a good example of why to never give up.

A perceptively super-easy game went off the chart, when very little ball-carrier protection and a dodging BoB resulted in a lucky touchdown, and newish orcs out-bashed experienced clawpombers (145 turns on the pitch vs 129).
