Unfortunately Lucan could not hold on to a handoff and dropped the ball, despite his usual catching skills. The Marauders started to move in close and 2 snots were taken out. The Green Man got the ball again but again Lucan dropped the wet leather. Alice the fast Marauder then scooped it up brilliantly while in rage Bulldog ko'd the Troll! We tried to hem in Alice but she blitzed and dodged her way out before Dawn blitzed and killed the Green Man. A sad day as it was the 2nd of the famed snot stat-up quartet to go in two matches.

After the Pact TD and a long kick Waterboy got the ball to Lucan. But Les couldn't conjure up much effort and only threw him a few paces forward. Lucan scurried back again. There was still time for yet another try but this time Les smashed Lucan into the ground. Somehow in the wet conditions a Marauder picked up and spiralled a perfect long pass to Alice who caught it and raced off to score the 2nd just before half-time.

2nd half the Pact had no trouble to score and our snotling numbers dwindled while their Ogre Sam even badly hurt Haystacks. Finally we pulled off a TTM with Les getting Lucan just far enough so he could stumble into the endzone. 175 SPP for LLL!

After that the Pact continued to hit hard but after a failed pass Lucan had a chance to get the ball. He slipped over on to the ball. Big Daddy though ko'd a Marauder and got it himself! He was in sight of the endzone but on his final blitz and run chance he boneheaded. Alas. 3-1 down it ended.
