#3 Shea Mclellin – Dead (RIP)
Bloodbowl is a game of two halves and nowhere can this perhaps be seen more so than in this match.

With 31 blocks in a single half a robust Sluggers defence prevented the Thunderbolts score, Louis Slugg doing what he does best and breaking away from his marker in turn 5 to blitz the ball free, indeed at this point it was the Sluggers half to lose and lose it they do, a series of fumbles by the 'nearly hero' Keith Wenning (he dodges through picks up the ball then fumbles it, picks up the ball and fails the rerolled dodge away and finally fails the dodge through a TZ and stuns himself whilst trying to get range to score) plus the ref deciding that Randy's tap-dancing around Miyers was actually a foul mean that in the final turn it was him that prevented a 1-0 start to the 2nd half.

Still 31 blocks, 4 fouls and it was the Sluggers going in a man down not the Thunderbolts and 0-0 at half time. A half of missed of opportunities.

Still bouyed by 31 to 22 blocks and receiving the Sluggers were confident going into the 2nd half... A great kick (landed on the halfway line then bounced 1 space into the Sluggers half put the Sluggers under immediate pressure however they cleared the line of scrimmage, secured the ball and Oday went for an ill fated foul with assists on Morgan 'I'm wearing silly spectacles' Moses, again the ref blew and the Sluggers were down to 10 men in their 1st turn...

Thunderbolts first turn and Miyers hits Dion 'the preschooler' Jordan who shouts something about a broken Nail and is escorted off by the apo (turn 1 and 2 players down...) (the apo plan was to score early, get Dion back on the pitch and then repeat the first half - however the RNG had other ideas - read on).

So down to 9 players and starting turn 2, the Sluggers still feel there's a chance however yet more lacklustre blocking (seriously my block success in this game was shocking considering all the block / tackle and 2d blocks) meant that despite the Thunderbolts moving into contact with the Sluggers they were basically laughing in the Sluggers faces and like preschoolers the Sluggers were crying for their mums rather than actually doing anything about it... Still King Hill got a pass out to Cordelle whilst under pressure and the quick score looked a possibility.

In the Thunderbolts 2nd turn they got a knockout on Nate, Sluggers go again and yet again substandard blocking is substandard. Anyway Cordelle breaks free - yes he'll have to survive a 1d blitz from Ronnie 'Nott' Lott if he keeps his feet but if he does, the Sluggers will be 1-0 up. Instead he bottles it, snakes his GFI and KO's himself.

Thats right end of Sluggers turn 3 and Thunderbolts turn 2 and the Sluggers have 7 players left on the pitch, 2 of them taken out by the Sluggers themselves on their own turns...

Game over.

To rub salt in wound the Heel proves exactly why he's called 'the Heel' and hands all of the Sluggers divisional rivals (which doesn't include the Thunderbolts) a massive lift when he kills Shea Mclellin with only his 3rd foul of the game.

In summary what a beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beeep match.

This season is shaping up nicely (if you don't like the Sluggers).
