Miami set up to kick, and promptly kicked the ball right out the back of the endzone, as Washington responded with a cage in the backfield and a series of blocks on Miami. Once the Huskarls advanced the ball forward Miami was able to set the ball free with an impressive leaping 1d blitz. Miami took control of the ball and made their way to the endzone but Washington refused to give up putting pressure on the ball, eventually answering back with their own 1d blitz on the ball. Still, on the cusp of scoring, Miami put all of their efforts into chain pushing one of the Ulfwerenars to the end of the pitch, in the rarely seen "Ball carrier 2d block for the surf, follow up for the Touchdown." There's a reason this is rarely seen, because in the end Miami rolled a Both Down/Skull, robbing themselves of the go ahead touchdown to close the first half.

Second half, game still tied at nil, Miami receives the ball, but Washington gets off an impressive dodging blitz on the ball carrier by one of the Ulfwerenars. Miami reclaims the ball and attempts to secure it midfield, smashing the collarbone of a Washington Berserker in the process. And even though they bumble and fail everything, Miami still managed to get the ball into the endzone for the winning touchdown.
