Given that it was a prelude to the big game at the Snorriheim Bowl, this reporter's having trouble remembering diddly about the heroics the wraithlords must have pulled off yet again. Been a strangely fortunate season so far in what was supposed to be their first full season, and a building season at that.

Still, there are a couple of magic moments that stick. The first blocks of the game. Twice this game had to be started thanks to a warpstorm blowing over shortly after the first whistle and twice this game provided the prelude that was to doom Snorriheim's premier team. The first block in each game landed a delf on the ground. Here one chap found himself badly hurt, another saved from death thanks to the apothecary, but the prem game finished it off, a first block rip with a failed apot. Nuffle's having a good old belly laugh somewhere dammit.

At least this game swung into a normal sort of rhythm after the first block. I can't remember much of the action, but I do remember it being pretty tight with the pressure causing some quite amateurish face plants. The Woolly warriors were unlucky not to get that try at the end of the first half as they failed a most crucial dodge.

Rip on the first block! Dunno how he snuck that sledgy onto the field, but sure went along way to intimidating the warlords for the rest of the game.

1 vote: #Steve the "Mo" Searle

His blocking, his tackling and the casualty that came with it were a worry all game after the apothecary had used his entire bundle of tricks within the first five seconds.

Well a good game had by both parties after the initial conundrums.

2 deathwish points to black sabbath, for repeatedly being elfish in the face of overwhelming tacklezones.

1 deathwish point to Blind Seer for making his passes without much mishap all game.
