<b>Position</b>: <i>The Anomaly</i><br/><b>Debut</b>: SWL X, Premier Division, Game 42<br/><b>Game</b>: <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=754742">Vanguard vs German Vermin</a><br/><br/>Storm Warden is a curious yet almost permanent fixture on the Vanguard's lineup. A niggle usually represents the end of the line for a Vanguarder, yet somehow he has continued to hold his own while niggled for three seasons. Even the fabled Blind Navigator (76spp +ST thrower) was retired once he niggled, so there are some on the team that are resentful of his longevity. While not your most exceptional player, he did have a single skill the Vanguard lacked for three seasons, the ability to guard, and he's made the most of being in such an exclusive role! <br/><br/>Despite this, early after his niggle he continually failed to turn up to games or when he did, he was always the first to retire to the dugouts. These attracted the ire of the coach, who wasn't particularly pleased, specially as the team could not afford to retire him. End result, Storm Warden was relegated to scrimmage duties!<br/><br/> Somewhere along the way though, Storm Warden became quite comfortable with his newfound role in the team, preferring to be useful somehow come what may. Even now that another guarder has found his way onto the lineup, it will be difficult to retire such a dedicated and fearless veteran of the scrimmage line.
