Shuriken is living on borrowed time. The apo saved his life, at the cost of the life of a super-star gutter later that same match. Very aware of the sentiment of the team how he was the expendable one and should've been the one to die, Shuriken is now on a mission to prove his usefulness to the team, that it wasn't a mistake to save his life...
Not bad, not bad...that big hand has come in handy a number of times! All we need now is NoS, and he'll be the real deal...
Yippee! Increased agility as he becomes a true star!! Of course it follows that he ages -agi at the same time... Gaining even more agility while passing his super-star roll without aging, I am staring at a guy who could've become an absolute legendary thrower with agi 5 (my first ever) had he not aged the -agi at 51 spp...now don't get me wrong, I prefer that aging to a niggle, but couldn't it have been -str instead of -agi?
Upon reaching mega-star status, Shuriken decided to bow to the creaks of old age by not wearing as much armor on game-day anymore. Wearing less armor seems to be a fashion statement on the team these days...
Despite avoiding aging a niggle, he nevertheless will have to live with one for the rest of his days after a crowdpush sent him among his fans, when he developed arthritis signing so many autographs. No wonder they named him game MVP for that game! But this close to legend status, he'll soldier on, just throwing one more pass at a time...
Finally made it! Despite multiple career-crippling injuries, Shuriken V finally made it to the vaulted status of Legend of the Bloodbowl Pitch! He can now retire with honors and a clear conscience (unlike his comrade in arms, Naginata V, who was forced to retire a mega-star with legend in his sights). Few may have known his name outside of our immediate opponent, but Shuriken retires as one of the greatest skaven throwers in the history of fumbbl. Rest well, my friend.
