When the game of blood bowl became a know sport in the vicinity of Tobaro in Tilea, many pirates and like-minded scoundrels started playing the game. Sons of Stromfels took the game as their own and started playing matches against the many Sea elven teams roaming the area looking for a game. Quickly the pirates realised the potential of the superior and transformed shark-men. Though slow, they ripped many a sea elf in half and proved their worth to the teams.

When blood bowl first came to Tobaro, there were no good places to practice the sport. They played wherever they could in the harbors, alleys, backyards (and some even in the sewers!) and parks. One team-to-be found their way in the prince of Tobaro's private park in the Altezza district. They played there for a while until one day the prince himself came to know of these rascals. He looked at them play this new and weird game and quickly became fascinated about it. The prince always wanted to practice sports but as a child, was never allowed to. Years passed and now he is too old for it. The prince decided to offer the group a sponsorship. They would represent the prince himself on the fields and carry his crown on their clothes. In return the group would be allowed to practice in the prince's park and live in the palace.

This event saw this group come even closer together that they agreed on starting their own professional blood bowl team, whenever the game was fitted to be played in Tobaro. They are since known as the Crown of Altezza.
