Far over Karaz Ankor dark In caverns deep with dungeons stark We must hunt prey in every way To seek the boon of blessed Mark. Chosen of yore made mighty spells, While axes fell, sent dwarves to hell. In places deep, the dark things creep Unhallowed halls beneath the fells. The dwarven king, the coward lord, Hid deep within on golden hoard. They sat there fraught ‘til Terror caught The scent of axe and brought them gore. On entrail loops their skulls were strung, From gibbet high his corpse was hung. The well drank flood of dwarven blood And frothed with songs the warhorns sung. The powers all war ‘mong themselves For ore and might within the delves, But all will bleed while Brass Lord feeds From daemon, beast, dwarf, man, and elf. The towers soar to bloody height, The winds speak slaughter through the night, And clangs of sword all feed our Lord Who grants to us our battle might. The wardrums echo through the pit And foes know soon they will remit Their blood in whole, their very soul, And shan’t be saved by guile nor wit. The mountain burns beneath foul moon, The Terror sleeps and dreams of doom. The corridors are slick with gore, The Skull God’s pleased and grants his Boon.
