HAJDUK was founded Sunday the 13. February 1911 by students in Prague, but is based in the city of SPLIT. In former times games were played at the stadion "STARI PLAC". There is a story linked to the nearby hospital, that every child born was first time shown the "STARI PLAC". That's why a real Dalmatian will always love Hajduk. The greates times Hajduk has had in the beginning of the 50th and also in the 70th of 20th century. Nowadays (since 1979) Hajduk plays at the Poljud and has since some years heavy financial difficulties. "Stari Plac" is today used for rugby, amarican football and baseball, but still all Dalmatians love this club and will always.
TORCIDA the supporters of HAJDUK were founded on 28. October 1950, it's known that they are the oldest supporters group in Europe. Almost in every town all over the region you will find graffities or paintings about Hajduk and/or Torcida. Torcida is friendly with Torpedo Zadar another Dalamtian supporter group, but the only real friendship is with the Benfica Lissabon supporters "No Name Boys". In Dalmatia Hajduk is like a religion. Well even around the world TORCIDA is a franchise. Where ever a Dalamatia diaspora is, you will find TORCIDA! Just have a look to the links at the category "SPECIAL" and you will know what I'm talking about.
On 8 May 1991, Hajduk won the Yugoslav Cup final (Tito's cup), defeating Red Star Belgrade 1–0 with the only goal scored by Alen Bokšic. It was during this time that Croatia declared its independence from Yugoslavia. Curiosum was that Hajduk as the clear underdog (the last of the league) has beaten the at that time dominant team in Yugoslavia and Europe. As usual all cup finals the game was held in Belgrade. As the last winner of it, the club is the permanent owner of the trophy. Among the Croatian team, 5 players of this team attended at World Cup 1998 in France and won the 3rd place vs Holland. Hajduk was finally able to restore its traditional emblem with the Croatian chequy but without the red star.
More than 100 years of tradition and history! During this period played in 5 states, never renamed, never relegated! Not everyones darling, but beloved and worshipped in Dalmatia and in many cases arround the world. The "birthday" game as a cross connection to the club foundation in Prague was played versus Slavia Prague(and lost!). A second game was played versus FC BARCELONA. During this long period of 100 years Hajduk has impressed with 18 national championships, 12 national cups and 6 national supercups. Twice they stand at the halffinals of UEFA-Cup and three times in quartalfinal of the Champions legaue in 1975/76, 1979/80 and 1994/95. HAJDUK ŽIVI VJEČNO!

Well the first rookie season started with the League Cup 16. Which was almost a non-performance concluded into a first round K.O.. The first three games were played vs rats! Actually vs Dinamo we should have won, be we stalled to long and lost the ball after nonsens. Afterwards outrunned by a great move. At the second game there was no chance to win, but we had a great drive after a wizzie and the lead! Third game we were losing by 2 and we turned it and equilized bravly. Game 4 was lost vs Norse. A good defense play, 4 times sacked the carrier, but didn't managed to get the controll. 2nd half just crapplay. Game 5 was lost. Twice i got lead, but this was not enough. Blitz No 4 and No. 5 vs me in this season. Bad AR rolls completed my loss. Game 6 vs Fullham went different. Learned a lot, specially not to give a rookie the ball if strip ball player arround. Well Blitz No. 6 vs me! Last game of the season was vs the ROWDY Gallas! No chance to win. Hope and guess that the next season will be better.
At least Aljoša Asanovic was awarded with the SEASON'S TOP PASSER.

Highly motivated Hajduk was heading into this first pre-seasonal game vs. Glasgow Strangers. Realizing fast that even a good start (sacking the carrier) and good drive to the zone, could end into a fiasco. The game was lost, 2 player killed! Being ready to recover, but not during the League Cup. Dark Elven fists could hit hard. 1-round-K.O! Finaly the league started vs Montreal (K480 inducement; -2 fame) with a tie. 2nd game vs Sundered Land AFC Hajduk was the favorit (K200 inducemnt), but very fast the game turned into a nightmare. Both AG5 Blitzer were killed, game lost. Luckly the negative trend could have been stoped in 3rd game versus Khemri Alexandra.
Honestly the win result out of an unlucky ball handling. 4th game was postponed twice, but finialy both teams met at the pitch. A great game with a pitch invasion, riots, big moves, unlucky rolls of both teams and finaly a split pot. Again a player died. Seasons game No.5 vs. Barmbek was announced as total offensive game. Which it was, a great and tight game with a bit more luck for Hajduk and a great game of
Aljoša making 4 completitions, a win for the team and Vilson got his place at the hall of fame. The 6th dead player this season! Game N°6 vs Accrington was dominated by Dado Prso. He made both winning TDs, unfortunatly he died. Kill N°7 . Last season game was vs Woodcelona, just a tie after game of good chances. Finaly a bit luck was missing to win the game, but CHAMPIONS we are. Second time a row Aljoša Asanovic was awarded with the SEASON'S TOP PASSER.
After the first title ever the season started with League Cup semi-final. 3 rounds of good play and unfortunatly a semi-final-game with a lot of small mistakes stoped our ambitious plans. Starting the season with a win vs Chicago Bandages. Well 3 players died among 2 merc also Jurica Jerkovic. Star of the game was Aljoša Asanovic making even under hard preasure a TD and CP. The second game a win vs Barmbek and coach was please with the good start. Espacially the both blitzers show their best play of the season. Game N°3 vs Watford was extremly different. We lost the game by 2 TD, in addition almost the complete team was injured. Means the blitzers, Aljosa, Boksic and Vujovic (Blodge/Guard lino). So we started the game vs the Strangers with a new catcher Slaviša Žungul.
It started very bad with snakes at pick and also the rest dice during the 1st half was crap. We were able to play fast and score twice to lead. The chance to sack with Prince Moranion was there, but the damn GFI went fail. After bang/bush the stragers where able to score the draw. This unlucky draw brought us to a must win in the 5th game vs Accrington. The Khemri played very well and controlled the game! Very fast Hajduk was 2 behind and Žungul lead alomost to a draw (GFI-Fail). Last game we lost under pouring game. Žungul was again extremly unlucky, as he wasn't able to catch the ball for the leading 2:0. So we lost it 1:2! Aljoša Asanovic was awarded the third time in row as the SEASON'S TOP PASSER.
First time attended in the OBBA CUP (before only League Cups) we have strated with a win vs B'orcelona (2 skilled line were killed), but just in the next round we were furiously stopped by Hoofizan Bullgrade during in the extension time. We sacked Prince Tagoe but Aljoša wasn't able to pick&pass. For the start of the regular season the team manager gave a clear season target. Hajduk should fight for the the TOP3 position for promoting to the Premiership. Unfortunaly already in the first two games the tartget gone very far. Lousy games forced by either ballhandling or picking/passing (mostly in critical game situations) of Aljoša. Additionaly the 3rd games vs Wattford finished a bit better than last season, but still the CDs have won by 2 TD and 2 kills! Midseason and last postion!
This didn't sounded very good.
Restructuring? NO! Hajduk zivi vjecno! Well the last 2 games brought us back to the track. At least in terms of gameplay. 2 wins vs B'ORCalona and ItLichTown! 9 Completiotion during 2 games of Aljoša (a quarterback badge) garanted a strong season finsih, but still only position 4. Seasons target missed!Aljoša Asanovic was awarded the forth time in row as the SEASON'S TOP PASSER.
