Pride of Lybaras

Like all Khemri teams, Pride of Lybaras is also led by a undead sorcerer. What sets Pride apart from the others, is that Thelekhter is incredibly vain and proud, even by Khemri standards. Originally the team was to be named Pride of Thelekhter, but the chief coach wouldn't allow his name to be assorted with such a small acknowledgement, thus the team was renamed.

Despite the implications of the name, the team is composed entirely of constructs made by Thelekhter himself, and his laboratory/workshop assistants. The main strength of the team are of course the Stalkers and the Bone Giants, but there are those assistants who gain the trust (or in some cases, ire) of Thelekhter. These players enter the pitch wielding impressive weapons and gadgets, that are just as dangerous to the opposing players, as to the player carrying them.

With a clear goal set for his team, Thelekhter won't rest until his team is regarded as the greatest team of all the ancient cities of Khemri.

The season started with a devastating loss against a Nippon team. The final score itself was humiliating, and as a slap to the face by Nuffle, one Sepulchral Stalker died at the hands of the Nipponese.

The second match of the summer was forfeited in favor of the opposing team, much to the chagrin of Thelekhter.

Third match against another undead team, Relic Slann. The match resulted in a tie, and even if the coaches themselves were a bit unsatisfied, the crowd seemed to enjoy themselves, and both teams received tons of gold. Unfortunately another player suffered his end, though this time it was an unremarkable assistant of Thelekhter.

Fourth match saw the team achieve it's first win. Inducement money was also gained, leading to a few Merc players getting hired. The match started with the crowd assaulting the ref, and the replacement apparently feared for his life so much, that the chainsaws of Lybaras got a free reign on the pitch. In the end, fans rewarded the team with massive winnings, thus the team was finally able to manufacture a new snake, to replace the one lost against Divine Sun at the start of the season.

The fifth match had the Lybaras team face an Ogre Kingdom team in a blizzard. Again offered some inducement money, Thelekhter once again decided to hire a mercenary Necrotech and his skeleton helper. The saws provided most of the injuries suffered by the Gnoblars on the opposing team, but the weather affected both team greatly. During the second half, the Ogre Kingdom team pulled some highly practiced moves, and managed to score a second touchdown in the end of the game, thus sealing the result as a loss for Thelekhter's team.

Emotmonb The Maniacal
A crowd favorite, who also was the first player on the team to earn Prestige Awards. Suffered an injury causing him to limp for his remaining days, and was thus fired from the team.


Tremendous Bostesi
Second player of the team to earn Prestige Award. Inside the team Bostesi has started to gain a reputation as a sort of pacifist. Blitzing and blocking others often, but always taking care to not hurt anyone. The owner of the team hopes, that earning Prestige will be the thing that finally unlocks the potential of Bostesi.
Sadly that wasn't the case. Bostesi was finally smashed to pieces in a match against Nagashizzar Nightmares, thus bringing the end to this gentle powerhouse.


Sumptuous Thikha
The death of Bostesi really had an effect on the career of Thikha, and the fast construct has taken on the role of the main blitzer of the team. Gained two awards during Autumn of Year 6.


Hopokom The Temerarious
It took a long time, but finally the team seems to have a Necrotect, that is able to step away from the shadow of Emotmonb, and be regarded as a true terror on the pitch. Hopokom gained two awards during Autumn of Year 6.


Ochiph
A true champion, despite his status as a lowly skeleton. Ochiph was the last player to have played in every game of the team, until his careerending injury in Match 30. Skeleton. Myth. Legend.
