P [L] Spawn of Chaos (CIBBL)

The Gifted Pilgrims of Black Rock Coast
Messengers of the Wasteland
Seekers of the Chaos Gifts
Bearer of Blessings
Apostles of the Four
Crusaders of the True Gods
Discoverers of the Slate of Nuffle
Making the Transformation in CIBBL since Y10 Autumn

Many a Pilgrim seeks the way to Chaos realm,
not knowing that you can find it by staying still.
Look at the stars and beyond if you will,
but I'm seeking the bless of Chaos within.

Chaos realm is much more than a freezing hell.
Its also where the true Gods dwell.
You can send your thought to them even now,
just find a place in your heart and make a vow

Worshiping Them is thought to be a joy
How you just make a wish and get it all
"Please give me my world conquering toy,
with it I would make the realm of men fall"

Gods don't gift you, unless they please
They see thru your acting and tease.
Time to devote yourself totally to them
and leave behind the fragile husk of men.

Spread the plague and ring the bell.
Collect the skulls of those who before you fell.
You can send your thought to them even now,
just find a place in your heart and make a vow

Engulf yourself in all the pleasures so dire,
and let the Winds of Magic light your inner fire
You can send your thought to them even now,
just find a place in your heart and make a vow
inspired by lyrics of "Joulumaa" written by Juha Vainio

The Gifted Pilgrims are a composed of individuals that have been forsaken from their former communities. Even on the scale of the Chaos affected tribes of Norse, Kurgan and Hung, these exiles are considered being gifted with too much for a person to bear.

Being left alone in the wastelands they started a pilgrimage farther north to find the way to glory or dye trying. May it be the guidance of the Gods, or mere chance, more and more of outcasts found themselves in the shoreline of The Sea of Chaos near the Black Rock. Here the they've found refuge among their like of Chaos Blessed outcasts. With the support of the ranks of their new tribe, these Forsaken continue to pursue to receive even more Blessings of their Deities. The ultimate goal of each Forsaken being the Gift of Royal Daemonhood and achieving the rank of Daemon Prince.

Unlike many other tribes in the vast area called Chaos Wastelands they didn't concentrate worshiping just one of the four mighty Chaos gods, but all of them.

Other peculiar trait about the Gifted Pilgrims of Black Rock Coast is the reason why they've set camp in that particular part of the world.

The first of the pilgrims found a rather large field surrounded by ancient stone slabs and shelters around it made of old Norse-like boat carcasses. The nearly snowless area seemed like good spot to spend the night, and since none seemed to be around they took shelter inside the ship hull huts.

They then took a closer look at the stone slabs and found there had once been writings on them since made unreadable by the winds, from all but one stone. The pilgrims stood before the stone that had fought against the rage of wind and bite of frost from perhaps times of the Great Catastrophe. The few of them, who were able to actually read, tried to make sense of the old scribbles. It wasn't before Babem Skullcup, who went to eat his stew next to the stone and put his bearskull bowl on the small dent in the base of the large stone, that the slate started to "talk". Voice unknown to them all started speaking in their heads, even thou most of them were used to hearing strange voices that encouraged or commanded then, but this one none recognized. The voice described the code of conducts of the ceremony to celebrate in the name of Nuffle.

In hopes of receiving a boon they followed the script given them by the voice. They formed teams of 11, went on to the field as oldest of the lot simply known as Wanha took the role of high priest. Wanha lifted the bear skull from the altar, which now felt warm to touch, and read the text on the slate to best of his abilities. All the ones on the pitch now felt like a thousand spirits had turned their eyes towards them from outside the stonefence. The sudden attention made one of the more cowardly outcast run of the field only to collapse dead outside the stone perimeter a second later. All who saw it thought it was the spirits that had drawn the lifeforce out of the retreated one. Wanha finished reading the test and threw the skull backwards over his head and into the field. Encouraged by the presence of the spirits they acted a play for Nuffle in hopes that the spirits would be pleased and leave them alone. They soon found themselves enjoying the game despite the imminent threat of death. The ceremony ended as bear skull broke in half releasing lound sound and the feeling of spirits started to vanish. Many who played claimed they had been touched by their Gods or the voices in their heads had cheered for them during the ceremonial game.

Afterwards the The Pilgrims named the stone as "The Slate of Nuffle" and regarded themselves as being given a wonderful artifact of the Gods. They decided to stay on the area to learn more about the slate and the field. They kept repeating the ceremony in hopes of feeling the presence of their Gods again but it did not always work. It seemed the ceremony could only be performed under right conditions or in certain intervals.

Time passed and eventually came a day they became aware of the Blood Bowl games arranged in the South and sent forth an expedition to bring back more knowledge about this mystical ceremonial game.

"Dear fans! This is Slick-Fur reporting from the Rat Rock Sewer Stadium. We has here a coach yes-yes! Far from north they come skulking to Rat Rock yes. So tell me Northguy who are you and just how much warpstone have you given to your players - I wants some too.
Waca Wanha: "My name is Waca and we are the Gifted Pilgrims. We came here to seek to please The Gods and bring lots of loot back home."
Slick-Fur: "But what about he Warpstone, you must have much much. Your players looke uglier than the Moulder Second Rate Sale Stable's experiments, yes-yes?"
Waca Wanha: "They've been blessed by their Gods, not the Glowstone. Hey ratface, tell my why the Runners got the trophy even thou they got stomped twice?"
Slick-Fur: " Why yes, the committee decided the Rat Rock Runners win of course. They paid much, yes-yes. They clever, not like some wet-nose savage I see."
Waca Wanha: "You smelly cur, curse you and your kind. We know we won and The Gods know so too. Worty already gained some new Gifts and is now wrecking the locker room."
Slick-Fur: "I hear-hear. Like a electro whipped rat ogre let loose. Really good yes. Much reputation you bring us. What next Outcast beardboy?"
Waca Wanha: "We heard there are bigger tournament going on, we going to take a look. And I ein't some boy. I'm a respected veteran of a thousand battles you vermin."
Slick-Fur: "Thank for the compliment granpa! Aaaand we going to finish here. Have a good day fans and don't forget to send some Warpstone to your favorite entertainer Slick-Fur, yes-yes. Go Rat Rock Runners and now back to studio!"
After the 2nd game of CIBBL - Y11, Summer - 0111 The Trivialised.
This is Cabal Vision Morning Flash news!
Sponsored by Sigmar Insurances - Prepared to aid you when your world collapses.
Last night at the Trivial Arena happened something you don't see every year, but what the Predictatron had of course predicted forehand. It was the last turn of the 1st half for the Unmei no ken, when they made an impressive goal.
The Predictatron counted that way they succeeded had about 0,46% chances to happen. Can you belive that! Its less than 1 in 200 tries!

Also in the same game a new star was born! The Nippon Samurai number 2, Kusunoki Masashige smashed his way to the Cabal Vision hall of fame with a triple casualty earning the prestigious
starplayer reward.
What is there not to like in such a powerful act of talent!

Thats all for now, stay tuned in the Cabal Vision for the best Blood Bowl, this was Gorgon "Flash" Ramhay and I wish you all a bloody nice day!
After the Summer tournament of year 11
The dawn on year's biggest game season on Cabal Vision that we all love: The prestigeous Autumn Divisions Tournament - or ADT for short - is here. This is "Caged-Up" where we share some statistics on teams while we interview their manager. Today we focus on one of the biggest suprises of past year. The team started a year ago not from the Divisions, but YoungBloods tournament, so this will be their first ADT. The team is from the Northern Wastes region and know for their, should I say, heterogenic appearance. Based on their looks, they might seem more like a ragged bunch of consript than a true team, but looks can be deceiving. From the three tournaments they've managed to win two and placed second on the third one. Sounds pretty good right? Let's give a Big Hand to the right hand of the Head Coach Waca Wanha, handy man of the Gifted Pilgrims from Black Rock Coast - The handsome Manager Gungow Somhand!

Gungow Somhand: "Cheers, You forgot to mention I'm also tha handling trainer here in tha Pilgrims."

Cage: "And I thought I fitted all the hand jokes to that one punchline."

Gungow Somhand: "Yep, I've heard a handful of those in my time."

Cage: "I bet, you've quite impressive fist size one can't but notice. Is that a family trait or where did you manage to get those beasts of appendages?"

Gungow Somhand: "I was forsaken from mah birth family when tha hands didn't stop growing. I was given mah new name by tha Tribe when they took meh in. So I bet its a gift from tha Gods"

Cage: "Seems logical. Now some statistics we all love to dive in! The Gifted Pilgrims have played quite solid 2 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss tournaments, but this Summer you managed to pull a 3 win 1 loss tournament. What has changed?"

Gungow Somhand: "I think its just tha players finally getting tha hang of it, they've learned to stay on their feet more. Of course we've also been lucky. But in the end all our victories are based on tha Gifts given to us by tha Gods"

Cage: "And by the Gifts you refer to the mutations which seems to be the trademark of The Pilgrims?"

Gungow Somhand: "One could say so, we like to think they are given to us by a reason and not by chance. Its not for tha gifted to question tha giver, but to accept and praise tha gift."

Cage: "Okay... Some more numbers. You've played 16 games, scored 25 touchdowns making it an average of 1,6 TDs per game. You've given away 17 TDs making it an average of 1,1 per game. Not bad. Are you satisfied mr. Somhand?"

Gungow Somhand: "Just say Gungow. Its a good rate, of course we aim to make it 2 for 1 gainst, but might never make it."

Cage: "Sound like a hard to reach goal for such a slow team. I could believe some elves or Eshin to make it. But then on to your blocking game. It seems quite murderous. In 16 games you've got 49 marked casualties for and 29 against leading to and average of 3,1 cas for and 1,8 cas against per game. No wonder the fans have been thrilled!"

Gungow Somhand: "Ye, seems like tha Northern climate has separated tha weak and only left tha ferocious to play in tha team. Also there have been some really soft targets to beat: Snotlings, bray and such"

Cage: "Still quite impressive. The Gifted Pilgrims are currently playing in the Tin Division of year 11 ADT. What do you think of your chances in this tournament?"

Gungow Somhand: "Seems like tha toughest one yet, but we are also tougher than we've been, so we going to show tham all some Black Rock Coast play style - Hardar Fastar Strongar"

Cage: "That phrase sounds oddly familiar, but lets not dig in to that this time. This is all for "Caged-Up" today. I am Saint Nicholson Cage and will now release our guest Gungow Somhand of the Gifted Pilgrims back into the wild! Don't forget to tune in again next week for more interesting insights on Cabal Vision - your favorite Inter-regional sports channel."

CIBBL (CabalVision Inter-regional Blood Bowl League)

For player development CIBBL will use the 2016 dice rolling system at fixed SSP points rather than the 2020 SSP 'save & spend' mechanism.

This means that at the following total SSP intervals (6, 16, 31, 51, 76, 126 & 176) a player will roll 2D6 prior to picking a skill.

A player will be able to pick any Primary skill (20k) on any roll result or some of the following
- If the roll is a double a Secondary skill (30k)
- On a Roll of 10 Ma+ (20k) or Av+ (10k)
- On a Roll of 11 Ag+ (40k) or Pa+ (20k)
- On a Roll of 12 St+ (50k)

- Expensive Mistakes are different from standard 2020 rules (0-95; 100-145;150-195...)
- Right Stuff cancels Tackle skill on blocks.
- Wizards are still available in CIBBL.
- No cards can be bought from petty cash or inducement money.
- No treasury cash is to be spent during the inducement phase, only that which appears in the "Petty Cash (Free)" box

How many skills rolls are needed (in average) for the stage to advance and a higher stage player to join the team
1/6 skills rolls (avg), "needs at least" 36 spp (1st skills)
1/36 skill rolls, "needs at least" 216 spp (1st skills)
1/216 skills rolls, "needs at least" 1296 spp
The ultimate goal, no transformations

When this player is activated, the only action they may perform is a "Ball and Chain Move" special action. There is no limit to how many players with this Trait may perform this Special action each team turn.
When this player performs this Special action:

Place the Throw-in template over the player, facing towards either End Zone or either sideline as you wish.
Roll a D6 and move the player one square in the direction indicated.
A player with Ball and Chain automatically passes any Agility tests they may be required to make in order to Dodge, regardless of any modifiers.
If this movement takes the player off the pitch, they risk Injury by the crowd
If this movement takes the player into a square in which the ball is placed, the player is considered to have moved involuntary. Therefore, they may not attempt to pick the ball up and the ball will bounce.

Repeat this process for each square the player moves.
If this player would move into a square that is occupied by a Standing player from either team, they must perform a Block action against that player, following the normal rules, but with the following exceptions:

A Ball and Chain player ignores the Foul Appearance Skill
A Ball and Chain player must follow-up if they push-back another player.

If this player moves into a square that is occupied by a Prone or Stunned player from either team, for any reason, that player is immediately pushed back and an Armour Roll is made against them.
This player may Rush. Declare that the player will Rush before placing the Throw-in template and rolling the D6 to determine direction:

If this player Rushes into an occupied square, move them as normal and roll a D6:
On a roll of 2+, this player moves without mishap.
On a roll of 1 (before or after modification), the player Falls Over.
If this player Rushes into a square that is occupied by a standing player from either team, roll a D6:
On a roll of 2+, this player moves without mishap and will perform a Block action against the player occupying the square as described previously.
On a roll of 1 (before or after modification), the player occupying the square is pushed back and this player will Fall Over after moving into the vacated square.

If this player ever Falls Over, is Knocked Down or is placed Prone, an Injury roll is immediately made against them (no Armour roll is required), treating a Stunned result as a KO'd result.
A player with this Trait cannot also have the Diving Tackle, Frenzy, Grab, Leap, Multiple Block, On the Ball or Shadowing skills. This Trait must still be used if the player is Prone or has lost their Tackle Zone.

Q: What assists, if any, does a Ball & Chain player receive when they are forced to Block a friendly player as per the Ball & Chain Move Special action? (p.82)
A: None.

Q: Does a player with the Ball & Chain trait have to use their full Movement Allowance? (p.82)
A: No.

Q: If a player with the Ball & Chain trait performs a Block action against a team-mate as a result of the Ball & Chain Move Special action, which coach chooses the result of the Block action? (p.82)
A: The coach of the player performing the Block action.

Ask #admin-needed for them to roll for each skill. Results are displayed in cibbl-rolling
(Roll d6 after each skill, 6 means Transformation)
