Through three cheese trees three free fleas flew. While these fleas flew, freezy breeze blew. Freezy breeze made these three trees freeze. Freezy trees made these trees' cheese freeze. That's what made these three free fleas sneeze.

Background
The Freezy Trees hail from Jønsønsønville, the icy mountain village, above the Deserted Isles port of Whaleington. Their Norse ancestors settled the land 200 years ago but they have held true to their customs and beliefs. The team grew weary of the weekly descent into town to play "freindlies" and in search of beer and babes. So at the start of 2515 they set sail West to the Southern Wastes, seeking fame, fortune and glory. They were the first of the current wave of DIBBL teams to make the crossing.

Glory has been hard to come by for the Trees in the hostile Southern Wastes. They have managed to play most of their seasons in the conferences, and came runner-up in one of their Regional seasons. They were also part of the inaugural Wastepac Team Challenge winners, the DIBBL Invaders, helping to secure victory over the hapless HEROES.

Season LXIV saw a change in the Freezy Trees' fortunes. They finished 2nd in SWL Defilers Conference with an unbeaten season. Sadly they missed out on promotion to Prem by only one slot. Need less draws, more wins.

Schola Conference witnessed the first success of the Freezy Trees. In an incredibly close finish (5 teams were in a position to take the title going into the final round) the Trees got their win, the other results went well... and now they're on their way to Prem

Culture
The Norse of Jønsønsønville are known for their juvenille nonsensical rhyming. When sober they keep this aspect of their daily lives to themselves. However, when drunk they'll proudly sing forth their ancestral rhymes, much to the bemusement and ridicule of outsiders. Rhyming is so much a part of the Norse creed, that many let the Midwife name their children based upon the first thing the newborn baby sets its eyes upon. Lineman Geeling was said to have gazed at the ceiling, whilst Lineman Glock first stared intently at his manhood.

The Blue Tree (Weirwood australis), the logo of the Freezy Trees, is centre of the clan's religion. Like their northern ancestors druids carve faces into the trunks of these trees, the blue leaf variety native to the Deserted Isles. The sap of the Blue Tree, "tears of Blue", is known for its psychoactive properties. Though a deeply sacrilegious activity, some have been known to partake in the abuse of the substance. Of the team only Thing One (RIP) was a confirmed Tree Licker, and was known to import the substance from the Isles. However, bottled tears are never as good as the fresh stuff, and it is thought that shortly before his demise the berserker had switched to licking cane toads.

Rest in Peace
Sally. A crowd favorite, Sally was known for her wicked grin and her lethal boot. Famous for her 8 foul stomping of the Griffon Gate Sentinels in Season LX, the season she collected the Silver Boot. Died dodging away from a troll in her 28th game.

Pop. Team Captain from the team's first game until their 42nd. Pop led from the front. Not a flashy player, his tireless work did not go unnoticed and he collected 6 MVPs in his career. In his final game he didn't shirk his responsibilities, standing bravely at the LOS. Knocked over and fouled to death by a dirty High Elf just before the final whistle.

Thing One. The team's first Superstar, Thing One was unhinged, deranged and a menace. Taking out the Silver Fist in LIX, he maintained a healthy pain rate throughout his career (6.48 block/cas). Also was a top killer with 5 murdered. Died after piling on in Mexican territory, by the boot of a rookie girl.

Lorax. Quite simply the greatest scoring Ulfwerenar the world has ever seen. More TDs and rushing yards than any Ulf in any division, Lorax was one of a kind. 171spp, agonisingly close to Legend. How will the Freezy Trees cope with the loss of its best?

Old Fish. None of the Tree's first four Runners lasted longer than 4 games each. The position seemed cursed, until Old Fish came along. A wonderful team player, he took the captaincy and over the next 48 games led the team to their first conference title, a respectable Prem season, and the semifinals of the Bob Borc Cup. Irreplaceable.

Little Cat B. "Double Jugs" Cat B looked to be the next Thing One. He was sadly handicapped by a smashed ankle, and then a rules change prohibiting piling on. Best game was against Steaked where he ran amok and scored five cas. At the time of his death was the Tree's kills record holder (6)

Grudges
Blood bowl is a violent game, deaths and injuries are to be expected. However, this does not mean they are to be forgiven.

Orin Onyxheart Savagely murdered Lorax, the best player the Freezy Trees have ever seen. Just short of being inducted into the SWL Hall of Legends too. Unforgivable, this troll slayer will be taken down!

Max Spleenripper Straight after being berated by a sadistic coach for a lack of casualties in his 6 attacks, Max drove the chainsaw down on a prone Old Fish. Our best captain! Max must die, and if the bugger is immortal, he must die again, and again!

Tunnel I Shortly after a Blitz kickoff result had the Tree's on the back foot facing a wall of guard, the evil Tunnel I bashed Little Cat B. A king hit, there was no coming back for the superstar blitzer - the apo didn't even try.

C3PO A group of 5 orcs were involved in the foul that smashed poor Clark's ankle. But the ref spotted who did the damage, we know who you are.

Leperous Larry Gentle giant Clark had a rough Season 63. He ended it by having his skull fractured by this far from fun Nurgle Warrior.

Avenged
Nicol Melanque Some would argue that her foul on Thing One was necessary to remove a dangerous player. Others may say her sending off gave the Trees the gap they needed to score. Nobody can dispute the devastating effect Thing One's demise has had on the team.
Thank you to Jaim Torfinn II for dispensing justice.

Ivran For the senseless foul murder of inaugural Trees' captain Pop. The final whistle was about to blow, this was a vindictive killing. Thankfully in the inaugural Bob Borc Cup a noble Ogre here! got our revenge.

Solar Prophet What is it with High Elves? Perhaps the whole race should go on the grudge list. Solar Prophet brutally murdered Yertle, the second captain of the Freezy Trees. The beautiful Troll Mao Zedong has our eternal gratitude.

Escaped
Wadsack Martell There were no Orcs on the ground! Sally wasn't going to foul anyone, she was just trying to get away from the blood bath. Totally unnecessary for the Troll to trip and kill her. Currently in hiding.

Debaser We understand the need to remove Lorax from play. However, the pure glee exhibited by Debaser as the great Ulf was stretchered off the field, foot barely attached to leg by a flap of skin, is unforgivable. Fled to Fringe, chicken!
