Stalind's White Stallions
Roster [4] Norse

Stalingrad Stallions come from a small town called Stalingrad, which isn't actually in Norsica, but north Kislev north of Erengrad.

The team is the idea and pet of the area's education minister, an unpaid post created by a local well to do Ivanov Sallinsky. Who comes from a family of well known white horse breeders.

Sallinsky was taken aback when he saw young 'students' during a school warm up game against an across the border brutal barbarian team. Nicknaming them speed and power, the team was exactly what he was looking for, a ticket to a better life and he created the Stalingrad Stallions around them, using sponsorship from his families horse breeding business, the team had pretty good results, after losing their first game.

Apparently after that first loss, Sallinsky took a horse whip to the boys, and sent a hunting party into the troll country to catch a troll that could be bent to do a job in the team. Sadly the few that returned, came back empty.

As luck would have it, and it seems to follow Sallinsky like a dog, a travelling circus came to town, with a malnourished ill treated ogre. Sallinsky almost decided against going with this poor broken creature and would have much preffered a troll, but didn't have many options, exerting some 'local power' it didn't take much to convince the circus master to part with him, and Sallinsky didn't regret that decision.

The poor beast was filled with so much gratitude, he would do anything for his new master, who treated him better than he has ever known. What's more once the beast was fed up to his rightful shape, he made a pretty good player.

The team progressed from the Kislev juniors league in fine style, and qualified for the Twahn's Regional Southern Wastes League. With this came a new name. Everybody in North Kislev knows Sallinsky's Stallions are white, but down in the wastes they don't. So they were renamed 'Stalingrads White Stallions' for better recognition.

Speed's career was short lived. The Ogre and Power faired better, but are long retired.

Since then new champions have come forward to carry the Light/dark blue and white banner of the stallions.
