[L] Elven Union
| All first doubles will go to MB (except plus ST or +MA on catcher). Any second double on the same player will then go to PO. Obviously this team enjoys creating casualties. Game 1: Got lucky in the first half to pull off a pass/catch + 3+/3+/2+ dodge + GFI to score. Then turn 16 score to end the game 2-1. Game 2: Got a bunch of good breaks to lead 1-0 in the first half. In the second half I got two blitzes and a perfect D leading to a lot of SPP. My first player to roll doubles (and thus MB) ended up with a -MA injury. It was better than his first result which was dead. Ended the game 4-0. My loner ended up getting MVP so he is hired (Truesnake). Game 3: In the first half I scored on turn 5 driving down the field with ease. Unfortunately this gave the Sidesteppers enough time to score back. In the second half I got lucky enough to see a double skull and this opened up a lane to hit the ball carrier. I recovered but although I got the ball to my blodger he powed him. Fortunately I blitzed a player to knock the ball out of bounds. This was within reach of my lineman who threw it downfield deep. The sidesteppers couldn't get to the ball and the game ended tied. Fun game. Game 4: Took the kickoff and played keep away. Finally drove down the field and scored in turn 7. Luckily I was able to take down his catcher to keep him from responding with a score. In the second half I was lucky to pull off a nice blitz with my +ST lino who later scored. I added a third score on the final turn. Woohoo! Another MB...this time a passer. My blitzer also picked up a +MA which should come in handy since he's my only tackler. |
