The undead Dwarf Anzelak Stonefist is known for being Head Coach of the Cryptic Humour Gemstone Tour. While the tour's teams have languished at the door of mediocrity in terms of talent, they have made Stonefist gigantic stacks of gold.

With that money the Stonefist has found himself within the esteemed ranks of the Gentlemen's Club, rubbing elbows with some of the most elegant and well-to-do folk of the land. It isn't yet clear whether he belongs amongst them.

Stonefist brings a team of well-heeled Nordlanders to the pitch. They are, of course, men of the most northern state of the Empire and not true norsemen (no true man of Norsca could be classed as 'well-heeled'). Stonefist has seen talent in these players, which doesn't really mean very much.

Stonefist's underlings - Coach Johar and the gnome Elzebar - managed to achieve notable RRR success in the Empire with Norse outfit the Jaarvic Lightning. They smashed through the first three rounds before Stonefist stole the glory in the final and raised the trophy for himself. Stonefist and Johar also co-run Norse outfits the Jaarvic Craghammers under the Gemstone Tour banner and run the Nordland Craghammers in the EEL. You might think that they know what they're doing then?

You'd be wrong.
The Nordlander's debut. They get knocked around a bit on their first attempt at a score. After retreating, they surge forward again but are too slow to run in the touchdown and it's scoreless at half time. In the second half, the Lizardmen blocks falter and eventually the Norse can get a hold on the ball and make a play. Zerker Hormundr Skinka still requires a 3+ to dodge away from his skink markers to score, however. It's all in the name. 1-0.
Absolutely wild norse on norse game. It starts with some brutal blocking from the Nordlanders and continues to be an absolute riot of big hits and big smiles. We come back from one down to win the game 2-1. You must watch it. Pitch invasion. Get the ref. Chainsaw. 6+ 1d into 6+ punt. Crazy plays. Textbook Blood Bowl fun.
The final game of the Nordlanders' inaugural season ends in complete disaster. Dodge MB Zerker Hormundr Skinka, carrying 21 spp, and 12-spp MB zerker Botolfr Berjast are mangled with career-ending niggles. Ulfy Frosti Snjókarl, on 4 spp, gets his skull fractured and will also be retired. The team looked like they were out of the foyer and into the Gentlemen's club at large. Instead, they get knocked down a peg or two.
