| Gofg's Ball Eaters were founded when the Maneater Captain Gofg was sent by the Overtyrant to investigate this strange phenomenon called FUMBBL. Whilst scouting FUMBBL Gofg decided that the idea of playing blood bowl was much better than fighting in big battles. As blood bowl not only allowed you to hit lots of people you could also get rich and famous doing it. When reporting back to the Overtyrant Gofg stated his case that the Overtyrant should send a team to FUMBBL in the quest to prove the superiority of Ogres and that Gofg should lead it as he is the only one that knows anything about this blood bowl game. Much bellowing later Gofg won the right to lead the Overtyrant's team by thumping everyone who tried to claim that they should lead it. As captain and founder of Gofg's Ball Eaters he recruited the remains of his maneater company; Glaff, Crav and Gurr. He also rounded up a number of gnoblars to fill out the roster of the ball eaters. Unfortunately due to mishaps on the long journey from the mountains of mourn to the land of FUMBBL most of the gnoblars got eaten. The gnoblars that survived the journey perished in the ball eaters first training session as they proved incapable of landing on their feet when thrown down field by an ogre. With no gnoblars left Gofg looked for some replacements. Unfortunately the halflings refused to join the Ball Eaters fearing that they would end up as a mid game snack. Glaff refused to play with goblns claiming they smelled. This meant that with time running out before their first match Gofg had to round up the only small players left, the snotlings. |
