P [S] Chaos Halfling

*The Background
It was a sunny and warm day in the Moot when one of the counties experienced a dramatic event: two demons from hell, The Bleeder and Xogir Soulstomper materialized from nothing, starting to devour the population of a small village. They were hungry and unstoppable, beasts from the darkest pits of the Underworld unleashed on Earth to feed on the living. They only stopped when the surviving halflings swore to help them in finding a different meal. The demons agreed, but they commanded the 'flings to assemble a Blood Bowl team. They wanted to feast on the corpses of dead opponents, drink their souls and chew their bones. Quickly, the halflings started to worship the Gods of Chaos, and they became evil and bloodthirsty cannibals. The team was born, and Stunty is now a most dangerous Leeg.

*Evil Ed, the first Bloodcook
The demons ordered that the team must have a Bloodcook, an halfling who served both as captain of the team than as cook for the meals prepared with flesh and bones of deceased opponents. The first Bloodcook was young Edward Tomatosmile, a stableboy who, infected with the evil miasmas breathed from the mouths of the demons, became a ruthless killer. He nicknamed himself Evil Ed, and started to make some rules. First: all the girls where for his own leisure. Second: he was the only one allowed to score on the pitch, and every other player who dared to go in touch down zone (except the demons) was supposed to be punished with a broken finger. Third: every player who got three skills would be allowed to remove his mask and show his face. The team mates accepted these rules, although some discussions were made over the girls matter.
Evil Ed died in this game during the Necromiser Nightmare VI.

*Jonah the Insane, second Bloodcook
After the death of Evil Ed the Cursed Moot was ready to elect a new Bloodcook, but the demons deprived the halflings of this choice. They appointed Jonah the Insane as new leader, a beggar who had lost his wits far before the coming of the unholy beings. Four days and four nights the demons kept him in a transfusion cellar, injecting his veins with their own blood to infect him with pure evil. What came out of the cellar was more beast than halfling, a cruel dictator who, as first act, killed all the chickens in the village to read his future in their own entrails. Hated and feared in equal measure by his own mates, Jonah escaped three murder attempts at his welcoming party, to which he responded with terrible retaliations.
Jonah was crippled in this game, and he retired.

*Darky Blackblood, third Bloodcook
Nobody was sad when Jonah the Insane retired from the team. He was cruel and crazy, he had guided the team through the Necromiser Nightmare VI but soon after he lost the leadership. His replacement was, as always, chosen by the demons: Darky Blackblood promised to be more good with the players, but soon he developed a weird appetite for Halfling Blood. Because of the fact that he was born without the usual huge halfling feet he was convinced to be the son of a Strigoyan lord, and he believed that if he would drink enough blood he would eventually gain the ability to regenerate. For this reason he set a rule: every dead player in Cursed Moot had to be brought immediately to him, so he could operate his strange rites in search of powers that, everybody knows, he will never obtain.
Darky died in this game. He was pretty surprised about his failed regeneration.

*The third and the fourth demon
Xogir Soulstomper was killed in game against Garden Shelter Dwellers. There was a fiery explosion when his body ceased to breathe and disintegrated, and everyone in the stadium was blind for a minute. Then a new demon appeared in the sky, roaring "I command you to win, miserable Halflings, or I will eat you all!" And they won, following the command of Kukkabor Krudekranium before he even joined the team. The bright career of Kukkabor lasted one single game: he was killed in the match against Guild of Little Horrors and replaced by Ormor Allhell.

*The Bleeder's retirement and Ormor Allhell's supremacy
In the end it took a wizard to force The Bleeder to retire. He was hit by a lighting spell in this game and permanently crippled, he retired with honor and left the place to his younger brother, Tolluk Terrorbringer. Meanwhile, Ormor Allhell kept rolling doubles on skills, becoming one of the most amazing big guys around. For this reason he decided that the apothecary in the team was his private stuff, and nobody was getting cured except him. The halflings, as usual, did not have the courage to disagree.

*Malkom Machobbity, fourth Bloodcook
The new Bloodcook chosen to replace Darky Blackblood was the only son of a noble halfling family long devoted to the secret cult of Evil. Malkom's father was quite happy to send his son to the lair of the demons, where the two unholy beings used their usual insane amount of dark magic to mutate a simple little halfling into a Bloodcook hungry for violence. Malkom Machobbity felt that his only mission was to make his family name famous in the Blood Bowl scene, he did not care about team mates and he never lived close to them, considering them not worthy of his company. He bought a whole building well far from the team's residence, and there he stayed with a staff of concubines, servants and musicians, having parties every night with the elite of the halfling society. This attitude soon earned him the grudge of the team mates, who started to call him "The Pompous Idiot Machobbity" whenever he was not around.
Malkom was crippled in his secong game and retired. His father is not talking to him anymore.

*Chubbo Cheaptrick, fifth Bloodcook
After the retirement of Malkom the demons started to feel annoyed at how fragile the halflings were, so they decided to search for the next Bloodcook in the thieves and rogues underworld of the Moot, hoping to find a tough guy who could last more than few games. One night, while roaming the city, they stumbled into a halfling running away from a group of guards. Apparently the guy had just committed some sort of crime, so they took their chances and instantly turned him into a malevolent adept of chaos using their morbid spells and unspeakable rituals. The halfling turned away and faced the guards, killing all of them in cold blood, then he spoke to the demons saying "Thank you for these evil powers you gave me, now if you don't mind I'll go my own way". The poor idiot didn't know that he had been chosen to lead the Cursed Moot. The demons took him away and locked him in a cell for two weeks, indoctrinating him with all their hellish knowledge until his mind was full of nothing but violent thoughts. That is how Chubbo Cheaptrick, a simple thief, became the new Bloodcook. He soon started to feel very important and enjoyed his new acquired fame, yet the demons had doubts about his tricky nature and lazy disposition. For this reason he threatened to punish him with immense pain if he failed them, promising to do such terrible things to him that they cannot be reported here. Chubbo just nodded, gulping. He never asked for that, but now he knew he had no choice.
