Once upon a time, deep within the dark woods lies the Vonderheide mansion. This mansion consists of vampires from the Vonderheide family, notably the master of the household Octavian Vonderheide, his three daughters Selene, Rosalyn, and Lenore, and a bunch of thralls and other vampires loyal to the Vonderheide family. Selene was the oldest sister, and a sort of motherly figure to the other daughters and even the thralls (at least when her bloodlust didn't get the best of her). Rosalyn was the youngest sister who enjoyed combat and wouldn't hesitate to spar against anyone.
However, Lenore was the middle child, and a bit of a trouble child at that. This was because unlike her sisters, she was rather lazy and apathetic to what occurred outside of her room, where she spent her time playing video games, watching anime, and browsing the Internet. One night while Lenore was watching Blood Bowl, Octavian got sick of her laziness and threatened to evict her if she didn't do something productive around the mansion, or at least get a job. Before Lenore could say anything, she had an idea: What if she made a Blood Bowl team in order to get out of both of those options? So she took the chance and did so for the /tg/ FUMBBL League, on the condition that if the team did terribly in the league, Lenore will have to retire the team and get a job. Rosalyn immediately joined the team upon hearing about it due to it giving her the opportunity to fight against more opponents, while Selene joined the team to keep an eye on her sisters, even if Lenore's naming scheme for the team and players was rather concerning.
On the other hand, Lenore was grateful for not being turned into a wageslave, but was still worried that things can get very nasty on the pitch. She was worried about failing miserably in the league, or losing her sisters, or even dying on the pitch. But she heard the old phrase "Fortune favors the bold", and she was willing to believe in it, at least until things go to hell. Will the newly created Maximum Marvelous Maiden prevail in the /tg/ FUMBBL League and become legends? Or will the vampires and their thrall minions get crushed under the feet of the other neckbeards in the league?
Only time will tell...
Match 1: vs. I Donut Know Anymore
One of the opening matches of Season II began with the Vampires against a team of Goblins who were a little obsessed with bread. The first half consisted of many failed bloodlust rolls, Juro being killed by Catcher of the Rye after a Both Down result by the former, and a failed bomb throw that injured the Bombardier named White Bread. At least Chiyo-chan managed to get the ball to the end zone. Next drive began with a Pitch Invasion that stuns 2 thralls, Chiyo-chan, and 2 goblins. Catcher of the Rye picks up the ball and gets thrown by Bagel Bite, but crashes and gets a serious concussion (-1 AV). The half ends with Keiji killing Sweet Fun and a failed pick-up by Canadian Flight in a last-ditch attempt to score before the end of the half.
The second half began with the Fanatic named Donut, more like GONUT stunning the thralls on the line of scrimmage before fracturing Doi's arm, causing him to miss the next game. The MMM try to close in on the ball carrier Pancake, but they overextend and allow Pancake to hand the ball to Peter before Press Tell throws him ahead. Peter crashed, but he did put the ball into a good position for I Donut Know Anymore, and they nearly score thanks to it. However, the MMM barely managed to stop them in time and hold on to the ball long enough to finish the game with a 1-0 lead.
After the game, Maximum Marvelous Maiden won 1 fan factor and a measly 20k gold, while Sora-sama became MVP. Thankfully, they could afford an aopthecary at least, which they will need if their next matches will be as brutal as this one. Meanwhile, poor Chiyo-chan was just lying on the bed after being badly hurt and thinking that maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. However, she had to continue at this point or else be forced to get a job. and her injuries had no long-term effects anyway. As for the other two vampires, Takara-tan was disappointed that she didn't do too much damage out there, while Sora-sama was happy that the team won (although being MVP certainly helped with her mood). Due to them only having 10 players next game, they had to hire the journeyman Harold Hardlightning.
Match 2: vs. Talabheim Buffoons
The next match of the Maximum Marvelous Maiden took place against a Dark Elf team of clowns known as the Talabheim Buffoons. The Maidens had a lot of confidence coming into this game, and they felt like they could take on anything.
The first half started simple enough, with a cage in the middle of the pitch with Sora-sama having the ball. Then the Maidens tried to run to the northern wide zone, but double skulls prevented them from throwing the ball to center field to score before the dark elves managed to knock the ball loose while surfing a few people and KOing a bunch of other people before holding onto the ball to prevent a score, ending the half with a score of 0-0.
The second half begins with Kei and Keiji still KO'd and with rain pouring down. Then Red Rab breaks Harold Hardlightning's neck, which didn't bug the team too much at the time. The buffoons took a few turns to pick up the ball, but when they did, they got marching to the end zone. The Maidens tried to stop them, but their dice only got them pushes and skulls, and a rather disasterous positioning error only guaranteed a touchdown by Blinky to end the game 1-0 in favor of the Talabheim Buffoons.
After the game, morale was rather low due to both fate and folly ruining their chances of winning (Seriously, those skulls and pushes on critical blitzes were bullshit. I am probably going to suffer from necrophobia if this keeps up for the rest of the season, which would be weird because I'm playing Vampires of all things). While the Maidens only got the MVP in terms of SPP gain, at least it went to Chiyo-chan, who learned Block. The team recruits a new Thrall named Aki, while the journeyman Harold Hardlightning was told to go to the Vonderheide Mansion for his reward for doing so much for the team. He hasn't been seen since, but the Vonderheides claim that the rumor that Harold was killed and drained of his blood is completely and utterly false and that they should be ashamed of themselves for thinking of such things. Otherwise, the Maidens had no choice but to shake this loss off and prepare for the next match.
Match 3: vs. Monkey Majik
The first game of the third round took place against the Monkey Majik, a Simyin team who became alchemists after turning their backs on their previous lives. The Maidens had the FAME advantage for this game, and they chose to receive after winning the coin toss.
In the first half, the Silverback named Anderson Silva spent a lot of it roaring angrily while down. Meanwhile, Chiyo-chan got the ball on a touchback, but then gets knocked down in a blitz immediately due to not getting into cover before the team's turnover. Thankfully, Chiyo-chan gets it back before passing it to Sora-sama, who tries to get it down the field with Matsuta. Then Kei gets Badly Hurt by G Rilla as Sora-sama gets wrestled down by Zee Chim Pan. Sora-sama then gets the ball and evades 3 monkeys to score, making it 1-0. Then the weather changed into a blizzard, and Zee Chim Pan manages to score before the first half ends as the monkeys manage to make a few armor breaks as they make it 1-1, including G Rilla inflicting a serious concussion to Takara-tan which was averted by the apothecary.
The second half began with Oingo Boingo picking up the ball and heading to the north side of the pitch. Takara-tan was quick to put an end to that by Badly Hurting the chimp with a blitz, but then Zee Chim Pan then gets the ball and stuns Takara-tan. Then Sora-sama blitzes that chimp and gets the ball before trying to get away, but then Zee Chim Pan gets his revenge with a blitz of his own. Then he surfs Takara-tan and takes cover in a makeshift cage before Chiyo-chan knocks him down with a blitz. Matsuta somehow got the ball and was able to escape the gang of monkeys with some assistance from Takara-tan's Hypnotic Gaze. Zee Chim Pan tries to stop the thrall with a desperate blitz, but he only got a Pushback, so he just pushed him into the endzone, making the score 2-1 in favor of the Maximum Marvelous Maiden.
After the game, the team won 70k gold, Anzai became the MVP, and the Maidens got +1 Fan Factor. Meanwhile, Sora-sama was thinking that the team needed someone stronger in case they had to go against a strong player like a Minotaur or Silverback, so she decided to do some strength training along with taking some steroids. Eventually, her strength went up by 1, putting her current strength at 5. Takara-tan had the occasional headache due to the concussion that was averted by the apothecary, but she was happy that she at least was able to inflict a casualty (even though it was a Badly Hurt). Chiyo-chan was glad that they won despite low morale coming into this game. Now if they can just get 2 more points, then they would be a good enough team to not retire, although their chances of entering the playoffs are rather slim due to their tiebreaker score being -5, which is the second worst in the Rookie league with the Fruitimal's -7 being worse.
Match 4: vs. Biblical Dwarves
The fourth game of Maximum Marvelous Maiden's season took place against the Biblical Dwarves, a religious group of dwarves who lost 2 players in their first 3 games. The dwarves bought a card before the game, they got the FAME advantage, and the Maidens win the toss and chose to receive first.
The first half consisted of the Maidens trying to run the ball up the north side of the pitch, only to be stopped cold by the dwarf defense as a few of the Maidens get surfed. As for casualties, Matsuta KOs Jonah, Roka was BH by Samson, and Joshua was BH by Doi. Then in the second half, the dwarves were able to hold off the Maidens with their cage, but the Maidens were at least able to slow down the cage enough to have the game be 0-0. As for casualties, Genjo got KOed by Ezekiel, Chiyo-chan BH Samson, Takara-tan KOed herself on a failed dodge, Aki was killed by Abraham, Cain was killed by Doi, then the journeyman Trey Hardeagle was BH by Chiyo-chan right before the game ended.
After the game, the team got a measly 30k gold, Sora-sama was the MVP (although I think Doi deserved it more), and both teams won some fans. The Maidens' chances at entering the playoffs were drastically decreased, but they still have a chance. They would just need to win the next 2 games while everyone above them either tied against each other or lost to teams below the Maidens. Either way, the next team for the Maidens will be against a fresh Khemri team called the Zot Crawlers, who are rather bashy with their 4 Tomb Guardians, but only have one guy with Block and they have AGI 2 at best, making it hard for them to pick up the ball. After some discussion, the Maidens decide to not buy a thrall before the game so that the Crawlers only get 80k in inducements instead of 120k for a chainsaw. Hopefully they don't regret going in with only 11 players.
Match 5: vs. Zot Crawlers
The fifth game of the Maiden's season took place against a fresh, supposedly clumsy group of Khemri that joined the league late known as the Zot Crawlers, where every has AG 2 or less and four ST 5 dudes. Since the Maidens are above them in Team Value by 80k, they got themselves the Star Player named Sinnedbad who is rather good at stabbing people. The Maidens lost the toss and the Khemri chose to receive first.
In the first half, Sinnedbad KOs Roka right off the bat before there was a battle at the south end of the pitch as the Maidens try to get the ball. Unfortunately, they couldn't stop Yredelemnul from scoring near the end of the first half. At least Sinnedbad got banned for his Secret Weapon. Takara-tan tries a vanity pass to get SPP, but fails, which end the half 0-1 in favor of the Zot Crawlers.
In the second half, the ball lands right next to a Skeleton and a Blitz-ra, which caused problems for the Maiden offense until Chiyo-chan KOs the latter. However, the former (who is named Murray) fractures Matsuta's skull, which ends his career right there due to a -AV injury making it harder for him to take blows without breaking. Then the Maidens did a pass to the north side of the pitch to Sora-sama, who carried it to the end zone quickly after a few Khemri scrambled to try to stop her, making the score 1-1. The Maidens do get the ball in the next drive, but fail to score in time, so the game ended in a draw. At least Kei BH Eidolon and Murray.
After the game, Anzai got the MVP, the Maidens got 60k in gold, and their Fan Factor was unchanged. In addition, Sinnedbad stole the Zot Crawlers' MVP, much to the frustration of their coach. Then Sora-sama learned Block to make her more of a menace at blocking while Anzai also learned Block for the same reason. Apparently they heard that they have a very slim chance of making it to the playoffs, but those chances were dashed when the Dark Elf team 13,5 elfen in Zamonien won against the South City Scum. At least the team got 6 points, so they won't be retired.
Match 6: vs. Fruitimals
Despite their playoff chances being dashed away, the Maidens still had one game to go, which was against a bunch of humans disguised as fruit animals for some reason. Before the match, MMM bought a Bloodweiser Babe for insurance against KOs as 8,000 of their fans arrive. Meanwhile, 9,000 fans showed up to support the Fruitimals, giving them the FAME advantage as the weather gets really hot. The Maidens win the toss and receive first.
The first half begins with the humans getting a reroll with a 2 while MMM got a 1, then Takara gets the ball before handing it off to Chiyo as she heads north while Sora starts brawling in the south. Chiyo almost makes it to the endzone, but a turnover cause her to get KO'd from a surf by Porcupineapple, and the ball is retrieved by Bananarwhal. Sora knocks him down, but Porcupineapple inflicts a BH on her, which gets apo'd immediately. Then Keiji gets KO'd by Apricoyote as Bananarwhal gets the ball again. Takara tries to dodge in the cage on a 4+, but fails. This allowed the Fruitimals to handoff to Apricoyote to score, despite Kei trying to stop him. In other news, Sando gets KO'd and Anzai gets BH.
The next half begins with the heat vanishing after incapacating three humans as Sando returns. The MMM defense falls apart as a few thralls and Sora get removed from the pitch, allowing Lemonkey to make the score 2-0. Both teams get a reroll as Sora is still out cold for the drive as Takara makes a desperate long pass to Chiyo that actually worked, only to get denied by Melion. Lemonkey eventually gets it after the longest scatter and a failed dodge from Chiyo, and he hands it off to Apricoyote so he can make a game-ending touchdown, which was stopped by Isao. Then Apricoyote made a chain push to get the ball and score, making the score 3-0.
After the game, Keiji got MVP, which got him Wrestle. The MMM got 60k in gold, and MMM kept their fans, which was surprising due to this terrible loss. The team wasn't happy with the game, but at least they did well enough to not get retired. They just hope to get a better record than 2/2/2 next season.
Match 1: vs. Claw and Chord
Before the season started, the vampires chose to stay in the Rookie league after hearing about a rules change to it stating that teams below 1200 TW can stay in Rookies on the grounds that the Veteran League teams were far stronger than they were.
The first opponent the Maidens play in Season III Rookies was against a team of musically-inclined Dark Elves called Claw and Chord, whose first game was this game. They got a Bloodweiser Babe and a Extra Training Session before the game and they chose to receive as the Maidens get +2 FAME.
The first half begins with the Blitzer named Dave Grohlem killing Genjo before the elves head up north. The Maidens respond with a few uses of Hypnotic Gaze followed by a blitz from Chiyo-chan to KO the Runner named Adrian Beloupgarou as he throws the ball backwards. A fight for the ball up north ensues, and Takara-tan gets Badly Hurt on a failed dodge and apo'd during it. The Blitzer named Kendrick Lahmiar eventually gets the ball and moves forward with it, almost making it to the end zone before being stopped by Sora-sama, who gets the ball afterwards. The Lineman named Rihannaga then rolled double skulls and gets KO'd, allowing Sora-sama to pass the ball deep down the field to Chiyo-chan. The elves try to stop her by surrounding her, but thanks to her superior strength and nearby Thralls negating assists, she eventually made it to the end zone to make the score 1-0 in favor of Maximum Marvelous Maiden.
The second half begins with Takara-tan recovering the ball and waiting for the elves to overextend before throwing the ball to Sora-sama so she can run it to the end zone. The elves try to surround her, but she got through them to score like Chiyo-chan did before to make the score 2-0. Afterwards, the Maidens overextend themselves and Kendrick Lahmiar makes the score 2-1. The elves tried to tie the game afterwards, but just couldn't manage to get the ball in time, and the Maidens win 2-1.
After the game, the Maidens get 80k gold and +1 Fan Factor as Sora-sama gets MVP. Takara-tan finally gets the Block skill after going one season without a level-up while Chiyo-chan gets Dodge. The Maidens had some hopes that this season will go well after how well this game went, although they still have some areas to improve on.
Match 2: vs. Snorkland Soulless
The next opponent for Maximum Marvelous Maiden is against a fledgling Nurgle team known as Snorkland Soulless. Due to their team value being 260k lower, the Soulless got themselves 2 Bloodweiser Babes and a Wizard while the Maidens decide to receive after winning the toss and getting their +1 FAME bonus from their 11k fans compared to the 6k fans of the Soulless.
The first half begins with a Quick Snap, which allows the Maidens to improve their position to start the drive. Then Willie Wetworth gets KO'd by Isao as Sora-sama gets the ball. She moves up while Sando gets Badly Hurt from failing a dodge, then trips on a failed dodge due to bad positioning. After some struggling, Chiyo-chan manages to get the ball, only for her and Sora-sama to get nailed by a fireball, with the former being stunned while the latter was KO'd. The Pestigor named Tooter Shelby managed to get the ball and run for a bit before being taken down by Takara-tan. She takes the ball after a bit of a brawl and heads north to evade the opposition and fails a vanity pass to Chiyo-chan before the half ends.
The second half begins with Sora-sama stil unconscious and with the Soulless getting Quick Snap this time. The Pestigor named Casey Kelp got the ball and they formed a few cages that withstood a few of the Maidens' attacks before Yasui managed to take down Casey. Unfortunately, it landed near a bunch of Soulless players, and not even a daring series of dodges by Chiyo-chan could do much due to her failing the last one, which caused the ball to land out of bounds and get thrown to the Soulless end zone by the crowd. The Maidens couldn't get to the ball in time with their depleting numbers and the game ends 0-0.
After the game, The team gets 50k in winnings and some new fans while Sora-sama wakes up as Morie gets MVP. In terms of skills, nobody learned anything new, which is rather disappointing. At least the Maidens didn't lose to a rather new team.

Elsewhere in the world lies the Delacroix castle, a mighty and sturdy fortress owned by the Delacroix family and currently ruled by Victoire Delacroix, a ruthless leader with an iron fist who won't hesitate to crush those who stand in her way. The next vampire in line for the Delacroix castle is her daughter Neferata, who Victoire hoped to train into a fine successor.
However, she didn't seem to have much of an interest in ruling over the thralls and vampires of the castle and instead preferred to rule over the many flowers and other plants in the family's garden. This frustrated Victoire to no end, especially since she is the only daughter she has, and she refuses to let the damnable in-laws usurp the castle after she is gone. Even worse, she keeps spending the family fortune on CopperFrog Sun Guard so she can care for the plants during the day.
One day, while brainstorming for ideas on how to solve this conundrum, she found a recruitment ad from a Blood Bowl team named Maximum Marvelous Maiden. While she and the rest of her family never really cared about Blood Bowl all that much, it did give her a way to get Neferata to be what she wanted her to be. So she struck a deal with Neferata in that if she played on the team and got some money to pay for all the CopperFrog Sun Guard, she won't burn the garden down in a violent rage. Neferata agreed on the condition that they moved her precious flowers to MMM's headquarters, so they do just that via tons of thrall labor.
Once Neferata joined the team, she was given the name Diamond Dreamer Dai-dono~! by Chiyo-chan, which did confuse Neferata a bit. However, she didn't care about it all that much, as she still had her garden and she would do whatever it took to protect it. This mindset did cause her to be late for practice on a good number of occasions, assuming she even went to it at all.
While the other vampires are a little disappointed in her tardiness and absences, they weren't too worried about it as long as she does at least something useful in their games. But the main question is, can she do just that in their games?
Only time will tell...
