Region: Wissenland Home Field: Gunpowder Hill Team Colours: Grey and White Wissenland Boomsticks Wissenland play out of Wissenburg. The College have managed to gain favour with the Engineers Guild in Nuln. This has led to rumours of Wissenland training with some rather dangerous machinery including a Chainsaw and a specially designed Cannon which can not only fire balls down the pitch but also lethal explosives. No comment has yet been heard from any official at the College. History The Grand County of Wissenland is located at the extreme south-east of the Empire. It has a reputation in nearby Reikland for being dull. The Elector of Wissenland, Emanuelle von Liebewitz, is also the Countess of Nuln and spends the vast majority of her time entertaining there rather than attending tot he business of her boring province. Known Features •Wissenburg - The capital of Wissenland, it is slightly south of Nuln. •Pfeildorf - A smaller town south of Wissenburg. Hans 'The Boot' Lutzman The dirtiest player ever to play for a College FUMBBL team. He will often be seen cheering on Wissenland, throwing the occasional rock from the crowd. If ever the mood takes him he will return to the team, bringing with him his own special brand of pain-giving. Seasons Year 1 Winter - Pre Season Friendlies Carcassonne Unicorns 2-1 (Valanduil, W.Muffins) Victory Wissenland Boomsticks 3-0 (Z.Romano, Valanduil, W.Muffins) Victory OMU Manticores 2-0 (Z.Romano, Valanduil) Victory Spring - Eastland Regional Season I Wissenland Boomsticks 2-0 (Valanduil x2) Victory Averland Angelfish 2-1 (Valanduil x2) Victory Stirland Nightguards 0-3 Lost Players of Note Year 1 Costantino Le Donne - Le Donne is the Ballhawks team Captain. Will often be seen giving rousing team talks before, during and after games. Outside of Blood Bowl Le Donne is aspiring poet, although his work leaves a lot to be desired. Wiseman Muffins - Halfling youth, Wiseman is the undoubted star of the team, he's quick, he's small and will surely leave his mark in College FUMBBL. Glegnar Stonesplitter - Dwarf Blocker, Stonesplitter is looking to make his name as the teams hard hitter. Valanduil - The Teams Elf is eager to show he has got what it takes, if only he can get out of Wisemans shadow. Drunarok - Big Guy, heart of gold, hands of granite. Will always have your back, as long as he can keep his head out of the clouds. (Retired through injury) Zachariah Romano - The mysterious Vampire Zachariah would be a boon to any team. He goes everywhere with his two Thralls, Pepijn and Carmelo. Marcos Solucio - Qucik witted and sharp of mind are not often spoken about Solucio. What he lacks in brain power he more than makes up for with his quick feet and quick hands. Toe Grut Rhul - Brought in as a replacement for Drunarok. An Ogre of a scholarly persuasion with a love for Blood Bowl. Said to be able to recite the full Oldheim Ogres squad list dating back to their beginning. Region Rivals Opponent run down Averland Angelfish - Treemen and Halflings and some excellent cuisine. Stirland Nightguards - Powerful Vampires lead this team and give the team a strong extra outlet for the ball. Wissenland Boomsticks - Chainsaws, Cannons and players crazy enough to attach springs to their shoes.
