San Luis 49ers San Luis is a small town in the hilly north western part of Estalia, looking over the San Luis Bay into the endless vastness of the Great Western Ocean. A gold rush in 2449 put it onto the map and lured people from all corners of the Old World into the hitherto rather quiet region. The influx of these fortune seeking adventurers brought besides noise, foreign accents and a diverse cuisine also something else to San Luis, that should change the town and its people forever: Bloodbowl! A team consisting of players of many different nationalities was quickly formed and given the name "San Luis 49ers", in remembrance to the fateful year that gave the town its fame, its wealth and the greatest sport the Old World has ever seen. Legendary head coach Bill Walsh's West Coast Offense, named after the geographical location of San Luis, secured the team a spot as one of the founding members of the DLE, where Valen DeBartolo took over the reins. His successor Carlos Miguel de Nueva Casa took over the team during Season 3.

Seasons After the team's first two and a half seasons in the newly founded DLE head coach Valen left the team due to personal issues with the league and its regularities. Some murmer he became a follower of chaotic forces and unsubstantiated rumours of him muttering "All the same all the time, mirror match after mirror match! I need change! Change! Tzeentch!" in his sleep that were circulated through CabalVision shocked the 49ers Faithful. The newly instated head coach Carlos Miguel de Nueva Casa, nicknamed Neubau from his coaching time in Reikland, was brought in to revitalize a shaken franchise. Season three ended with mixed feeling for the San Luis Faithful. Good performances against the divisional rivals let them hope for next season, but a few very dubious coaching decisions, including leaving the teams best player Jeffery on the bench for multiple games raised questions about the teams direction.
