[L] Underworld Denizens
| Association Sportive des Skavens d'Ekrund Since 2433, some Skavens took place in the Ekrund Peaks, in the middle of nowhere, in Badlands. Despite some interest for Blood Bowl, and some success with the local team, the Badland Browns, Skavens and Goblins decided to play with football too in those deep caves. Assocation Sportive des Skavens d'Ekrund was born! NDLR: for the record, this team is based on a famous french football team, Association Sportive de Saint-Etienne. Saint-Etienne is the town where I live, and my club. It's still the most french championships owner (for some years only, if you consider the championship will be regulary owned by Paris Saint-Germain), and they made an appareance in European Champions League finals in 1976, where they were defeated by Bayern Munich. The game was played in Glasgow, where there are square posts. A Saint-Etienne player shot a free kick on them, some times before Bayern scored... A physic study tends to show that if they would has been round, the goal could has benn scored... In 1975, they made the semi-finals, lost against Bayern Munich, and they were defeated in 1977, in quarter-finals by another famous English football team, Liverpool FC. About the town, it was famous in 20th century with their coal mines... Since Underworld Denizens are fond of warpstone... It really makes sense! |
