Fluff

From the depths of inky blackness comes a horror, actually not unlike the many that rampage across the pitch already! Point of difference being all of the disgusting squirmy legs, er... arms, or tentacle thingies. Their dugout appears to be filled with water from their native habitat and they are often seen submerged within it between drives on the pitch. This appears to rejuvenate them and allow them to make forays on land for brief periods. They too have heard the call of Cthulhu er... Nuffle and they bring with them the accursed play book of Davy Jones!

Deep Horror

At first glance you might mistake these beasts for the Beasts of Nurgle. A second look would reveal that they look quite a bit healthier, they are more uniform in appearance with their fellows, and have a sleeker, more agile feel. They have a pair of large tentacles used for manipulating fellows and opponents alike. Restraining or launching players through the air. They are the backbone of the team, though they do not in fact have any bones themselves.

Spike Fiend

If the Deep Horror is the backbone of the team, the Spike Fiend is the bony plates on that backbone. If observed in their natural environment, being the deep sea, you would find that the Horrors post these creatures about their lairs as defensive sentries against hostile invaders. They are roughly humanoid in appearance though diminutively so with vestigial upper appendages. Their hide is covered with evil looking spikes and their heads are crowned by a pair or more of wicked horns.

Dagonish

The Dagonish is a scaly humanoid with several sets of arms. Their heads have a sort of squished look about them and the overlarge eyes seem to be more to the sides of their head. They tend to be vigilant after the Deep Spawn, often directing the play as various throwers would. In addition, they run interference in protecting the ball-carrying Spawn.

Deep Spawn

The Deep Spawn appear to be a smaller version of the Deep Horror, but are more able to run on their legs as opposed to the odd sort of slither that the Horror employs. They also have miniature versions of the Horrors tentacles that they employ similarly though somewhat less effectively.

Devil Jonas

''Devil Jonas is a mercenary type from the realm of the Deep Ones. Having a streamlined physique suitable for cruising the depths for its prey is no less useful for on-pitch ventures. His caudal tail fin is prehensile enough to put a stick in anyones wheel. And his abundance of sharp pointy teeth are known for the cruelest of injuries.''
