Just a quick note, as I go through the stats and player profiles for this year's all-stars awards.
Representative Honours are as follows:
A 'Rising Stars' team is selected from all Regional players
A 'Conference Representatives' team is selected from all Conference players
A 'Prem-Stars' team is selected from all Premier players.
Being selected to any of these teams is, of course, a great honour. Selected players are welcomed - encouraged even - to make a note of this honour in their bio.
Separately, an 'All-Stars' team is selected. Every player at any level of SWL is eligible for selection to the All Stars. This is the highest representative honour of the SWL.
Please be accurate in player bios. There is no 'Regional All Stars' for instance. If a player made it into the All Stars from Regionals, then they are an All Star. If a player makes the select team from Regionals, but not the All Stars, they are a Rising Star.
Similarly with Conf.
Hope that clarifies.

There was a client update where the end zone was taken out of the picture window. The image for a pitch now needs to be 12 square wide, not 13.
Barre had a checkered pitch of 13 squares, which when centred into a 12 square window, left every square halfway in between 2 squares. Makes for a really effective way of obfuscating the number of squares left to score. With a pitch like this you actually has to stop and count every time. You can get the idea off this replay .
Barre left it up for ages. I thought it was gamesmanship kinda like the time OB put a code error in his bio so nothing else showed up on the team page below it and you couldn't view his team, but Barre eventually took it down, so I assume he is meaning to fix his old logo but hasn't got around to it yet, and has taken the obsolete one down for the interim. Either that of Grumpsh just turned it off (which you can do in the client). |

Yep that, tbh I turned the pitch images off a while ago and just forgot about it.. then someone mentioned it in game so I removed it. I'll get around to adjusting the other one soon. |

Or painting red dots on all the player portraits to hide the real niggler.
Btw, i don't feel "gamesmanship" really quite describes it well. Let me try to think of another word describing this... |

Yeah, my pitch has the old dimensions also, but fortunately, I never did the checkered square thing (only lines) so I haven't changed it either. You can compare mine to most of the new ones, and see the size difference. |

Nah, first Lizard win was in season 8 by the Warlizards
Then a loooong drought before the next one (Faulcs first) in season 26. |

Huge shoutout to Cdwat for his amazing work at promoting the SWL at Southern Shrike Bowl. His amazing work with the flyers, sideline signage and name cards was fantastic and I'm sure lots of new players will join thanks to his efforts. |
