Hi.
Is there somewhere we can see how many points each player has contributed?

Hoover Widowmaker: Picked by 4 coaches x 4 rounds which won't be played = 16 games worth of Fantasy SPP squandered
Bolwgan Softrock: Picked by 4 coaches x 4 rounds which won't be played = 16 games worth of Fantasy SPP squandered |

At least there'll be no nagging voice in your head screaming "don't blitz the thrower!" in your next game.
Though you might want to target Jev's pick Frankie |

Just so long are people as playing competitively in the spirit of SWL and not, for example, putting a win in a fantasy football fantasy league (meta-fantasy league???) above points on the board for SWL proper... |

Why is it an issue here but not with the other awards - boots, fists, gloves, arm, boomerang, faction competitions etc etc etc? |

I'd like to see an element put into the fantasy league next season not purely based on SPP creation in a game: more in alignment with the twahnlows - so, still maybe making a team, but it's for nominating your player pick to make the most blocks, player with best block/cas ratio, player with most fouls, greatest number of throwing yards, player with most rushing yards etc
Thoughts? |

I priorties the Swl league first including awards. The fantasy league is kind of icing on the cake.
I always going to be for fouling elves;)
But agree there could be an issue with thrown games or allowed touchdowns.
Maybe, in future, the fantasy league rules could be amended.
For example, you cant score points with a "fantasy player" in the match up against your own swl team. |

Semitence has valid point, but before him saying that point, it had never come to my mind that somebody would put twahnlows before team performance...
Surely nobody would?

There's not really a difference here. The same goes for all of these. |

If I was putting team performance above anything at all, I wouldn't be playing Goblins. Or progression league play, really. I'm good with neither stunties nor high TV play, but I am totally here to build the biggest and meanest Goblins I can manage. Because that is great fun.
On the way to that, when I was trying to win the fouling twahnlow, I did better than when I didn't care about fouling. Because it turns out paying attention to fouling is good for Goblins. Who knew. Being high TV, on the other hand, is not good for Goblins at all, their win rate up where I am is around 10% across fumbbl, and I'm probably improving that here.
Because I also try to score and stuff, to get SPPs, so I can get bigger, sometimes that even wins me games. I've even stalled a few times to give the weapons longer, to get them some SPP. I'll get another AG 4 at some point, that'll help, if I ever get to play other joke teams again. |

Next season I think I'll make it that you can't choose a player from your pool INCLUDING one of your own players to avoid any possible game throwing. I don't believe anyone would do such thing but the SWL league comes first.
This will also allow non SWL coaches to join in the fun too! |

Agreed on disallowing players from your own team. But own pool takes this too far. You will always play against teams which will influence your standing in the table. A rival has Bolwgan in his team?, Bolwgan is in your pool?, target Bolwgan. Fantasy won't influence how you play, and if it does you will play worse, too bad for you. |
