I would like to formally welcome the Southern Shrike to the SSL.
With only two perms I feel that they got off lightly
Although losing 4-0 will shatter the pride of any pointy-ear.
Bad luck on not doing any return damage pyates - hope the gobbos squish nicely underfoot!

But interesting, I'm keen on having a stunty team for a comp vs mostly elves so post season I might put down for a switch across to them from Elves. But work it out later. |

And so begins the drumming up of new coaches

Further to applications, the SSL now has opening for one more keen (and reasonably compatible with Sydney evenings time-zone) coach who enjoys the idea of sticking with the blessings of Nuffle in any form they may take. + Stats, - Stats, the most prized +/- Stats, and even a randomised roster to have them on. +AG on a Tree, -ST on a Mino, even the admins get the blessings!
You will be assigned one of Dark Elf, Necromantic, Nurgle, or Skaven teams at random, to start at 1000 TV with a touch of suitable fluff in season 5 of the Southern Survivalists League, coming to you a few weeks from now in synchronisation with our sister league the NSL. 23 other keen coaches await, mostly carrying injuries aplenty to exploit!
Discussions about minor rules-tweaks are ongoing, but the essence is taking and keeping what the dice give you and running with it like a mad thing, along with a brutal spiked ball that brings the potential for extra joy with every scatter.
You may also PM me, to apply. If active coaches know anyone who might be keen, feel free to put the word around, we never know when further openings may appear. But spaces are strictly limited, so we'll keep extras on a list somewhere if you're too late.  |
