Das Hochland Rinderkuchen: The Buff Edition

Two volunteers in the new programme are veteran wingers from the Outlaws: Waldo Winther and Artur Jaeger. The pair recently switched from their normal training regime of 8 hours hunting per day to a new gym based routine and the results have been incredible.
Waldo Winther said in our exclusive interview: "My weight gain has been drastic and my body fat is at it's lowest level ever. I am as fit as fiddle and strong as an ox. I can't wait to get back on the bloodbowl field"

Is talk of Dmitry, Evgeny, with both Vladyslav, Svitlana, all could go professional. Best team in new CBBA, wrestlers, bowlers, combined. Legends. But is no more Kossars allowed in wrestling program, not funding, city elders so fussy, families too proud. So sad.
Please, little Vasily, come home, be like Maksym Ignatyev, stay with mother. Be good boy. City is much less mean and cruel than you say in letters. Not for common people, was so much joy at parade, only little stampede, no one important die, so does not matter. At least visit.
We believe these are detailed battle plans being forwarded to saboteurs within our ranks. Men with Kislevite names are being debriefed by the inquisitors as this comes to you. What are your thoughts?

Harlequins Opportunity Hottest Coaching Ticket In Town
The MCC Harlequins have parted ways with coach cdwat and are on the lookout for someone to take them in a new direction. For a coach interested in making the move, or perhaps entering the league - the Harlequins are perhaps the team with the most potential in the league. Their history of strong rosters filled with exceptional talent has been let down by their lack of resiliance. If a strong coach can overcome this though, the Harlequins should be able to capitalise on a relatively soft division and some of the best talent in the league. Will someone take on the challenge?

Coach Wozzaa interested in Harlequins post!
An undercover... visitor to Wozzaa's hotel room has told the Hahnchen Herald, in an exclusive interview, that Coach Wozzaa's head has been turned by the vacant Halequin's post.
After some persuasion, the anonymous .... guest told us that Wozzaa discussed that his future ambitions might be beyond Eisechatten University.
This development has reportedly thrown the Cockerels pre-season into disarray, with some players refusing to train.

Panthers Considering Changes
The Panthers have today refused to rule out significant program changes in preparation for Season 7. When asked about their approach to the upcoming season, faculty management remained tight lipped. Rumours have been going around that the Panthers have been considering an attempt to poach a top coach from another program to replace Patdragon.

Verezzo Student Times
Diavoli Farewell Their Shining Star
It's a proud day indeed for Verezzo, to witness her son Filipo Orsini, graduate and move on to a professional career in the Big League. Filipo is not only Tilea's only CBBA All Star, he is also the only college player from any University to win the award three times. In recognition of this amazing achievement Verezzo Athletics Department is understood to be petitioning the CBBA to rename the All Star awards after Orsini, but have yet to get a favourable response.
Sadly the final Diavoli press conference of the Season was not a suitable celebration of their best player. It instead descended into the overdramatic chaos that we are accustomed to enduring. Assistant Coach Mila spent a full hour singing the praises of her three sons, two of whom seem destined for careers in the Sartosi Pirate League. The third, Armo Pisciotta, has taken a position of legal council for the team - it appears the nepotism in the Diavoli organisation is never-ending. The fifth member of the team to graduate, Monte "Ass" Carmino, has excelled academically and is hanging up his boots to focus on his Engineering profession.
Again the Sartosi Slipper (Cocks) and Anfora (Chevs) went elsewhere, and the team failed to amount to much. Without the deft skill of Filipo, we envisage a poor season ahead for the Diavoli. One only hopes that they bring more Verezzo talent in, and don't seek players from Sartosa, Luccini or Miragliano. |

Could Semitence Jump Ship
Rumours are circulating throughout the Old World that CBBA Bowl Winning Coach Semitence is about to announce that he is quitting the Reikland State Scorpions. Widely considered the best coaching position in the league, it makes no sense to see a coach coming off a bowl win make a move. Perhaps there is more to the story? Likely, it's just fake news.

Mushoomy's Return
One of the hottest coaching prospects in the Old World is returning to the CBBA after a seasons absence. Coach Mushoomy, famous for his victory with the Cockerels and known for his offensive play schemes has been employed by the Manticores. It is a major coup for the Manticores to acquire such a sought after talent to a struggling program. Let's hope he can turn things around in the mysterious North.

Desperate Clippers Appoint DrPoods
The FCU Clippers were getting desperate to find a last minute coaching replacement for bmilner who has apparently dissapeared during the offseason. With few options on the table at this stage of preparation, the Clippers have announced that DrPoods will be taking over. DrPoods is a coach with a point to prove in the CBBA after disappointment in his last 2 programs. His forays in the big leagues have shown a lot of promise however, so lets hope he can bring his A game to a team that needs him to stick around for the long haul.

Sharper Handed The Reigns at NPU
The Buccaneers have made a press release announcing Coach Sharper as the man to take over from DrPoods up in the North. The Buccaneers have had a quiet run in recent seasons and will be looking for a return to relevance in what has been an overachieving Frostbelt Conference. With a program in disarray after the Bears blatant cheating cost the lives of many of their most talented juniors, Sharper will have his work cut out for him.

Coaching Merry Go Round Shocks CBBA
Debby Demonbreeder – Sports Reporter for the Altdorf Daily
The Foundations of the CBBA are about to change after it was confirmed today that Coach Semitence is in fact leaving the Scorpions to take a role with the Harlequins. In what seems to be an unfathomable move, Semitence will go from one of the most prestigious programs where he has had success to a school much lower on the pecking order that continually struggles to field a team.
In an equally surprising twist, the Scorpions have named Coach Patdragon as the replacement at the head of the program. The Panthers have been clear that they were looking to move on from Patdragon, begging the question why the leagues top team would hire a man not deemed good enough for their inferior rival. Perhaps there is more to the story of the fallout between Patdragon and the Panthers board. Certainly, he has shown some glimpses of talent in his time at Talabheim which could suggest he has the ability to lead a top program.
Furthermore, the Panthers have finally been given the go ahead to announce that rookie coach HandyKaufman will take up the role overseeing the program. Little is known about Handy K, but it has been suggested that he wowed the Panthers power players during his interview.
How's that for a piece of news!

Bears Program Suspended For Multiple Fragrant Violations of CBBA Rules
The Bears won't be back anytime soon pending a review into their University's athletic program after multiple seasons have ended with obvious violations of CBBA rules. The resulting damage caused by the actions of the Bears has severely impacted on their opponents, leaving the CBBA no option but to hand out the suspension. The Bears will be made to go through a rigorous process of re-
accreditation before they are able to return.

Season Preview – Luohghcra Back In The Saddle For Another Title Shot
The Stallions were once again in the hunt for a Bowl Game last season, falling just short. Coach Luohghcra has done everything asked of him in Averheim, keeping the team well above .500. He would be somewhat disappointed at the lack of silverware though, especially considering the constant criticism of his team cashing in on an easy conference. The South looks tougher this season, but the Stallions look up to the task.
Where They're At
They had another fantastic season statistically in Season 6 but failed to overcome a tougher draw to make a Bowl game with two tough draws proving costly. They have cycled their players well, implementing a program of mixed experience to sustain success in a truly Averheim strategy.
Biggest Concern
They’ve got to find replacements for Grinner and Pox at key positions which may leave them a little lacking to start the seasons. The FBC is no more and a move to the South could be tougher. If they do make the Bowl, can Coach Luohghcra overcome his (now famous) big game jitters?
What We'll Be Saying At the End of the Season
Another great season in a golden period for the Stallions, but will it be forgotten without a Bowl victory?

Season Preview – Are The Eagles Taking Off
The Eagles had a terrible Season 6, impacted heavily by the change in direction from coach polemarch to coach Wex. All along though, the Eagles made it clear that it is about building to the future. This is the season where we expect to see this vision of sustained success emerge.
Where They're At
One draw from their 5 games is all the Eagles could muster. Their 3 core players came along nicely last season, throwing the ball around to each other with abandon. Unfortunately, they were unable to convert the flamboyance into touchdowns. The Eagles made it clear that last season was about development though, so not its time to ramp it up – if they can.
Biggest Concern
They’re fragile, don’t have much experience or any real star power – not exactly a recipe for CBBA success.
What We'll Be Saying At the End of the Season
The Eagles showed moments of brilliance but struggled to keep players injury free.
predicted finish: 2nd in the South.

Season Preview – Life After Filipo In Tilea
Filipo Orsini is the only player in the graduating class to make all 3 All Star Teams. This is an amazing accomplishment considering the team’s mediocre performances. The Tilea hopeful argue that Orsini may have dominated the team too much behind the scenes and his graduation provides an opportunity for a more cohesive unit to take them to success. Everyone else thinks they’re in trouble.
Where They're At
They beat the Griffins and drew with the Chevaliers, so coach ramchop certainly knows a thing or two. However, the Diavoli are just as capable of losing to a lowly ranked opposition as they are of challenging the big guns. They’re linemen are graduating and there doesn’t look to be much depth in their positionals.
Biggest Concern
The Diavoli have been terribly inconsistent and need to put weaker teams to the sword if they are going to have an impact.
What We'll Be Saying At the End of the Season
Once again a mixed bag of performances has relegated the Diavoli to mediocrity.
