hmm, could your opponent design a new team and you are playing your norse against them? would be more a friendly game than that^^
Expect all orcs with block, most of em with guard and migthy blow.
Foul every turn if u have dirty player(s).
Try to minimize the blocks from the orcs.
Try to stall.

Well, I did make him think again about cherry-picking my team. We only managed to fit in one half and the Norse won 2-0.
You are as amazed as I am.
Got receiving, managed to break his right wing with a blitzer and catcher and ran like hell to the endzone. TD!!!
He deployed his troll on the wing, allowed my minotaur to own the centre of the field (with a little help from my guard blitzer). He got the ball and tried to cage it through my lines. I managed to break the cage with many norsemen (of every kind). Thrower ran and picked up loose ball before short passing to a catcher far out on the wing. The catcher was then free to score as all his players were either prone or on the other side of the field.
Keys to success:
Good handicap rolls - one of his 4 BoB was arrested, a niggling blitzer and lineman struck by virus and his 2 best players refusing to play left him with only 10 players to field (although many of them had guard)
Lucky with armour/injury rolls - he beat AV7 only occasionally but only ever stunned. There was no casualties at all in the whole first half.
Managed to create favourable blocks with great care and thought.
It would be interesting to play the second half sometime to see if he could've downed enough of my team to score 3 TDs. If I ever do, I'll tell you about it. |

Better, offer him plenty of beers if it's posible, get him drunk, and cheat and stall or forget the ball, foul and send his players to the publick.
This game seems lame for exibition or friendly, try making new teams, elves for him if he wants to win,and orcs for you, or dwarves... |

Bad does not equal cool in my book. Vikings are cool but I take offense in that such a poor team resembles them.

Norse have done me well so far. I've not lost yet. 4 games, 4 wins - 3-1, 4-0, 4-0, then 2-0 in one half of the mentioned game. Not forgetting that they are among the coolest BB minis released imo. Also, before people say I was playing squishy teams, those first 2 games were against dwarves. |

If it's really just a friendly game in between, go ahead and ask that guy to advance some of your players until they have the same number of skills as his orcs. Tell him that you just wanna have a fair game, and arrogant as he is, he'll have to grant it.
Then proceed to take DP as first choice on every other of your norse linos |
