Arm Update.
Well, I got lucky. I've got about 40% of my mobility back in my left arm (probably all I'm going to get), and all the feeling in my fingers. The wrist can't turn, and I can't really flex the bicep, but it's not half as bad as it could have been.

Here's an image of the pins put into my arm. http://www.freewebs.com/ihalon/XR4.jpg
And my "battle scar". http://www.freewebs.com/ihalon/Hat.jpg

No, they never found the guys that did this and now I have a five digit hospital bill I can't pay because I'm on government assistance of less than $1000 a month (much less).

Oh well, some good news to be had out of all this: I'm bringing back Snot Sniffly for match commentating. Next blogpost should be his next one.

Don't settle for news about 40% mate. I work with youngsters with servere handicaps and one thing i learnt is that with a stubborn mind and hard training the body can heal more then you would think. If you can't afford help with rehab, I guess you ain't covered by insurance? Search the net for rehabprograms for arminjuries. Good luck and keep us posted!

That x-ray looks like some terminator stuff!

With that said, you're young. Hang in there. You may surprise the doctors. They don't know much anyway. They only "practice" medicine. You may come out of this 100% yet.

On a lighter note: Definitely add that pic to your Fumbbl profile -- Scar + Mountain Dew hat + Mullet = Fumbbl Demi-God!

I'd missed the first part, terrible news that. At least you know what happened. Easilyamused woke up in the hospital last year after walking to his car.

Still a terrifying experience, and painful too. Good luck with your recovery, I agree with Shakall, don't settle, fight (well, you know, fight to recover hehe).

And I'm glad this is the first post by BillB on this topic I agree with. Profile picture for sure!!
