Breaking the duck
My labouring Pact team, playing in the Summer Cup of the International League, finally registered a win on their fifth attempt.

It is a long tradition of mine to write commentary on matches wherever possible, and in a league such as this one, I think it's doubly important, because it adds to the narrative of Blood Bowl and FUMBBL, if only in a very small way. The commentary isn't that long, because in truth the result was more exciting than the game:

At last, the Kneecappers won a game, with a disciplined defensive drive first up eventually yielding a handling error, upon which they swooped, in the Elven shape of Belial Painwright, and ran nearly the full length of the field to score.

Receiving, it was Belial with the ball again, and a way was carved to the endzone with a switch of play.

The Big Guys had a good day today, with few mishaps - I even forgot I gave the Ogre Guard previously. The team were sorely tempted to stamp on a few Dwarfish knees during the second half in particular, but resisted for the sake of securing their first win.

Afterwards, the team enjoyed a slap up barbecue in memory of Aaron something-something, you know, the one who showed up looking for a game earlier today? They thought he went very well with the hot sauce.

Fluff, it's what makes blood bowl better than standard board games. Keep it up.

Yes, they suck at blocking. Ducks lull you into thinking they're comical, noisily defecating waterfowl - it just means they have you were they want you...and if you think having a bit of fun on the blogs isn't worthwhile, then I feel very sorry for you.

big deal. The problem is, that i'm not writing things what the people wants to read. I really don't care to be very nice, i want to be honest.

Be very nice it's good for the politics and diplomats blah, but they aren't very honest.
