Green Machine (newly painted team)
I decided to paint up a new table top team but didn't want to buy new figures.
I looked threw what I had available to me and the answer was Orcs. I pulled out 12 old second edition plastics orcs for lineman, removed the weapons off of two plastic warhammer figs for Blitzers and actually found a new plastic thrower. Then I found the old Greaser Geargrinder model and thought that should be the basis of the team. I have since gotten a Troll, 3 Cheerleaders, 4 Black Orc Blockers, and 4 Gobbos to add to the mix but they are not painted.
Lineman #1: Rothag Foestomper, Lineman #2: Azgor Legbreaker, Lineman #3: Gorgrim Skullsmasher
Lineman 4: Varglum Hobbitstomper, Lineman 5: Urgzog Crowdsurfer, Lineman 6: Grimfang Goblinkicker
Lineman 7: Urgok Armbreaker, Lineman 8: Azmor Elfslayer, Lineman 9: Badruk Backbreaker
Lineman 10: Urgbad Dwarfkiller, Lineman 11: Urkvar Ribcracker, Lineman 12: Gorbad Skavenbane
Blitzer 13: Morlud Gamewinner, Blitzer 14: Urgag Scorestopper, Thrower 15: Arrak Ballchucker

I was thinking the same. Many would probably nag about the old school paint job, but I really think I fits these old school minis so well. Thanks for putting a big nostalgic smile on my face! :-)
