Balls alright..
kinda referring to bobafettsmum balls blog :D

http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2655520

just played a fumbbl tour game against skaven with a one turner gutter, he blacklisted and said im unsportmanlike player because i played the game to the end when he tried to "concede" the game by running players away from the ball with the one turner left so he could easily make a one turn td on his last turn since he won the coin flip..

so what you guys think, should you let a guy on a tourney to "concede" or give him more love for doing something like that?

1 = players should "concede" on tourneys if they are undermanned
6 = play to the end no matter what on tourneys

Just watched the replay and I would have just sent the ball carrier on his way and hunted down the surviving rats then fouled them constantly for running away and making no effort to retrieve the ball.

If he wanted to concede he could have done so from the client and given you the extra MVP and cash. Given his one turn capability you did the right thing.

he basically just gave me easy game for the next match since he didnt try to harm me in anyway..

atleast he didnt concede from the client that would have been even worse so he i respect him for that :)

Ree Sharp Claws before Claws you should have fouled him to death on principal.

If he had an easy OTS, and was down on players, sometimes it's a good idea to run away and keep your OTS safe so you can all-but guarantee the tie instead of trying to stop a (almost inevitable) drive, lose your OTS capability, and thus lose. I haven't watched the replay, but it doesn't sound like he was "conceding" to me :/

we said "i let you td" and started to whine to me when i blocked and fouled his players

You can only concede by using the concede option in the client. Anything else is continuing with the game and exposing yourself to the risks involved in a contact bloodsport. You should have gone after his one turner with a vengeance, fouling it to death if you could. And shame on him for blacklisting you.

I watched the game. he had three players left on the field, thus being very unlikely to get to the ball. He then ran them so safety, to save what was left of them, I guess. It then looked to me as if two very deceisive things happened as once; your dorf tripped, and his rats outdodged the couple of dorfs you had set up for fouling, and suddenly you were in no position to safely stall.
It all makes sense: the oneturner was out of your reach and you could lose the ball and the TD, ie you were left with no choice...
Come on mate, you are just a bit worked up about not having the extra time to thrash this poor team even further, arent you?

Concessions are illegal in tournaments.

Running away to keep your oneturner alive is perfectly justified.

i understand the fact that he wants to rescue his gutter that is almost illegally good ;)
but he mocked me for not playing by his rules and blacklisted me.
and anyways he started playing again when i started fouling him when he moved the players away from the ball :P

I voted 1 because I thought this was a bad blog entry and I didn't want to play by your rules. Naming and trying to shame other players like this never leads anywhere. It just adds to bad blood and justifies people claiming that the community here is "not as nice as it could be", to put it mildly.

lol, the main point is that ppl learn that tourneys should be played to the end, harming the opponent so it might affect the next match... the main reason i write this is because this aint the first time it happens t_T

eh, the other guy is an elfballer, who picks up RSC before claw, but cries when he has to suffer the same pain he inflicts on others...

...what did you expect?

tourny = play to the end, take no chances
