The horror, the horror...
15 games into my Nurgle experiment, and I've ended up with:
3 bloaters with Block, 2 with Guard as well
3 pestigors: one MB/Claw/Block, one MB/Tackle/Block/Frenzy, and one Block/Sure Hands/Extra Arms to carry the ball
5 rotters, one with Kick
3 rerolls
On the rebuy script, I'm at 1490, vs 1340 of budget (but that's including 3 extra journeymen that I don't need to include, so the actual rebuy would be (to keep my first 11) 1385 vs 1340 of budget. So what to cut?
I think it's going to be the fairly horrible drop 1 reroll route: that puts me into game 16 with 2 rerolls and 35k treasury, but this has never been a team that spent lots, so I'm hoping in my low-TV this-is-kind-of-but-not-really-how-it-works attempt to play Nurgle like it will be in 2020, we can get enough cash to recover to 3 rerolls after a few games, and without losing too much meat (it took 15 games to get to 3 block Bloaters, so I'm not keen to starting them from scratch). (Since there's no way to get to 35k exactly, I'll get down to 30k, out of some masochistic spirit of I don't know what).
On the positive side, this means low TV Nurgle with a few nasty skills, which might mean I get to play against Halflings and fill that part of the box grid - simple pleasures for simple minds. See ya in the depths!

Interesting... with BB2020, cash flow will be stronger I feel and hence you might get some more flexibility. Also, at the end of your 2nd season ALL those players are going to be +40k to rebuy right? So it will be a massive drop... so maybe think about dropping one of your Block Bloaters and even your MB/Claw/Block pestigor. Keep the TV lower, reduce the Agents Fees somewhat? I think this meta will be intriguing!

I think we will be having a lot of interesting things to consider with the new meta and the new reality of rebuying teams in bb 2020. It's always been clear that different rosters thrive at different TV levels, but this new equalizer and cycle of resets will definitely shape how the game feels.
In spite of having to kiss my bloated ogres goodbye, this should be an interesting exercise.
