BB Ogre Log *** Part 2 ***
In this second part of "A Tale of X Gamers (Blood Bowl)" I will detail on the first conversion work I've done on my 6 Ogre Bulls purchased last week. As mentioned I wasn't too thrilled about the belly-plates they come with and decided to green stuff a belt and trousers for all of the Ogres. Here's what I did:

(1) Taking an Ogre I decided to carve a little on the edges of the great hole in the stomach area (2) and fill the trunk with junk (sprue clippings). I proceeded to GS the stomach and trousers over the dried, filled hole (3) and then flattened out a GS sausage to form a basic belt over the midsection. When this was dry I made the belt buckle and belt flaps (4). All in all it was quicker and easier than I first predicted and apart from drying times for glue and GS it all went pretty fast and presented no problems in sculpting. Although it must be said that my GS skills are not that good so bear with me :)

Having all the belts and stuff done I went on trim the shoes (I didn't particularly like the pointy toes on the shoes, yuch!), onto which I made a steel cap from GS.

In total it took less than 2 hours to finish the lot so I'm glad my gamble paid off. Yeah it would've been easier to go with the belly plates but I didn't much like them and decided to do them my own way. Wasn't quite sure about the time aspect but in the end not much time was lost. Here's where I am so far. Next I'll start on the arms and heads and finish up the shoulder guards. Hopefully it'll go as easily as the belly section conversion.
