FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

I'd always avoided 'flings, as they looked like the class clowns to me. Squishy but entertaining was about as much thought as I gave them. After watching Kam's Flying Sammiches 'flings several times I thought perhaps they could be more fun than I'd thought. Wow was I ever right. Not only are they unbeaten after four matches (against Goblin, Chaos Pact, Necromantic and Khemri), but they're regularly making me chuckle like a loon with the madness they can pull off.

Game 3 and you've lost the ball to the Necro's, who've picked it up and can score with ease in turn 7 of 2nd half. Who cares? Dodge through a bunch of tackle zones and -2D the ball carrier, roll double pow, collect the ball, dodge out of more tackle zones and leg it. I was laughing so hard i damn near wet myself!

I can't recommend 'flings enough. If you've lost the fun from playing FUMBBL, give them a try and see if they can't make you smile again.

Part of the reason to play halflings is that you can get any match you want. Don't bust his stones for looking for something fair.

Glad you're enjoying your fling team, mate. Your first skill roll's pretty nice. :)

And don't listen to the negativity here. It's always hilarious to hear people calling you a cherry picker when the vast majority of the people asking you for a game are cherry pickers, or at least do it because they're expecting an easy victory and "sprotch" sounds every turn.

Remind me which sub 1100 TV rosters are full of tackle? Oh wait, none. If you really need MB to damage a halfling you're doing something wrong. I'm sure the coaches that challenged my little fellas did so because they wanted a challenge and not a bunch of theoretically easy casualties ;)

Yeah, I really lucked out with the ag+ on first skill. Guess we know who designated flyer is :)

Ooooh yeah, what a coward he is! How dare he play vs teams without tackle witha team that has 1060 in TV? What teams has Tackle at that level, or do you suggest he proove his manlyness vs some CDs or Dorfs perhaps?
My advice is that you stay in Ranked and enjoy playing vs the coaches and teams that you like. Blackbox is rather Meh after a few 100 games... Sooner or later you will start to min/max there and load up with MB, Pile On and Claws, just to fit in with the Big Boys...

Thanks! Took several GFI to get him there over 4 or 5 turns (can't remember exactly how many it took) and my final RR to prevent take root on the final steps to cross the line =)
