FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

I love Bloodbowl. Im not a paticularly good coach but I do really enjoy the game. But just lately fumbbl has really started to p*** me off. Every team Ive started lately has a death in the first match with no apo or loads of injuries. In my last game I had a death from a dodge with a dark elf. I mean FFS cant an elf dodge!? Only needed a bloomin 2. And the amount of go-for-its where I have rolled a 1 then rerolled and suprise suprise \0/ its a 1 again. This leads me onto my thinking at the moment: Are JavaBBowls dice rolls really random? Or even have some of the coaches found a way to hack the program?

Dont get me wrong Im sure that the rolls are random and Im pretty sure that no one can hack the game. Im just naffed off! I suspect most coaches have periods like I am having at this point in time.

I love this game but at the moment it sucks!!!

i feel for you brother....the same thing happens to me. An AG5 elf can't pick up the ball in 0 TZs, even with a reroll, but my opponent's unskilled skeleton can dodge away and pick up the ball without needing any rerolls. And then another team of mine ages on 2/3 skill rolls. This all supposed to be part of the 'fun' of the game but I agree, it does tend to make one want to throw their monitor through the window.

I suggest taking a long enough break to let your frustration subside and hopefully when you come back the game is enjoyable again. Hopefully by then the RNG will have chosen someone else to pick on. ;-)

lol another 1 ? just take the rough with the smooth ;-/ too many cool coaches feel they need a break from this site when they have bad runs. its getting boring imo
just ride it out fella or it will be you who is missing out ;-(

i agree with pigstar - just ride it out play with some fun teams or venture into stunty for a game thats what i do the game is fun so enjoy it

Happens mate... Me, I've finally inured myself to my bad luck, so I get happy when things go well for me, rather than ticked when they don't. Don't ditch us, I'm finally back, and haven't even gotten to play you yet!!! :D

I have had similar thoughts about the dice rolling program, and I am still unsure about it, but I can say in the last three matches I have had teh benefit of the luck, its just the previous 100 that its sucked. I think a holiday is good as long as you keep checking back, sometiems the weeks just go by and you never come back.

Also, what about the Wight Isle League? We need you! I was really looking forward to the next season, whenever it will eventually happen. If you go, then it dies.....

I feel for you boba... but naming a dark elf team "No Luckerz" (and using orc spelling, at that...) might just be inviting Nuffle to hose you one ;)

Be thankful that the dicing came on a brand new team rather than one you've developed for a while! I know it's frustrating, but at least wait until leagues are finished before taking a break - we have enough people dropping out because of RL issues... buck up, buttercup :)

When I used to play regulary, I took a little time off when this happened. I tried to keep out a few weeks and then come back. Usually it helped, because what it comes down to is, it usually really isn't the luck or the rolls, it's mostly just in your head.

It wasnt a GFI RIP it was a dodge RIP! ;) Thanks to all for your comments I doubt I'll leave. As one of my previous blogs stated I'm addicted! Just frustrated at the moment and needed to vent some steam.
