Cheats among us? Who gives a....
In my last blog I wanted to find out what people thought of the fact that it's likely that those that were banned are still playing on Fumbbl useing other accounts. It would seem from the responses that most of you aren't bothered if this is happening. In fact some of you have been very defensive about the matter. Maybe we should hail these cheats as heroes. Maybe we should aspire to be like them.
Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my last blog. I wasn't particularly saying I was bothered either way that the cheats may still be playing on Fumbbl. Obviously I dont especially approve of cheating. But can I really be accused of a witch hunt?!
I didn't even report the cheat that was back on the site until i was told to do so by an administrator.
Maybe I'm in the minority now. But I was brought up to believe that it was the taking part that counted. Sportsmanship and honesty were what counted.
Now it seems "Winning is all!"

cheaters will cheat no matter what you do, best thing to do is not feed the trolls.

It's the [R]anked division. You have to expect some skullduggery.
IMO "I never foul first", "DP for tournaments only" in a coach bio is an attempt at cheating. Asking for a 'recovery game' when you have 13 fit players.
The usual cherrypicking and elf baling. Hmm. Not quite cheating but...
Is the end result of all this cheating much worse that playing a lot of games on the Birthday.

I for one think it's a duty we all share to report people we see blatantly cheating to the admins.
It's in all our best interests that people wo ruin the competition and atmosphere by breaking the very reasonbale rules of this sight are made accountable.

I think the problem is that people dont really wanna act as the "local police" just as less as you wanted to ( i figured you didnt since not reporting the cheater until told so by an admin ) but you got a point with the sportsmanship and honesty.
I for one have added all the cheaters to my blacklist just in case one of them activates the account again, but i dont really know how to spot the cheaters if they have made new account, so if you could tell me how you figured it out that would surely help cause i would surdenly repport them if i found them again.
Besides that i dont really see how we can bust them once again since we cant ( the normal players ) see what IP they are using and such, and i doubt they will come clean on they´re own.
