Fun on Fumbbl in League format
Be warned this is a bit of a vain-glorious post, but its also a thank you post :)
Im a fairly new Coach, and even newer coach on fumbbl. I joined the site August 13, 2013, so I've almost reached my 4th month here. I enjoy playing Blood Bowl and Fumbbl makes the pleasure of that experiance so much sweeter. Everything here is great, there isn't alot to moan about! if anything at all. Theres a community here and it feels great being a part of it, thumbs up to all who have put energy of one kind or another into making the whole experiance what it is. And thumbs up to all the coaches who play here who also make the site what it is.
When i first came here I didnt want to play in Leagues because being a rookie I imagined I would have a hard time, not understanding things as-well as others and get laughed at alot, so I choose instead to play Ranked and Box. During one of my games an opposing coach I was losing against said my sporting manner was good and so refered me to 145 League commishioner, and there my [L] career began (thanks to both of you). Once I got involved I began to see my own League forming in my mind and I quickly set about setting it up, I did not expect many coaches or any infact to show any interest in the League I was proposing beacause: a) I am a rookie coach, and b) I am a rookie commishioner, but, believe it or not, 14 coaches applied with their teams and Season I of the League quickly Kicked Off! - that season is drawing to a close now with only the final game of it to be played.
I wanted to make this post for those of you who did join the League and who have enjoyed playing in it, I couldnt have asked for a better bunch of coaches to join, playing and having fun with you has been a real blast - if it werent for you the League probably would have been deleted and forgotten about shortly after creation, and I might not have enjoyed playing this game as much. Since playing League format I rarely play Ranked or Box games anymore. So thanks to all of you who are making FFTK a fun and rewarding League to play in.
I wish our Season I finalists luck in their coming game! If i miss it I will watch the replay when I am on.
A great first Season! Lets make the second one even better ;)
As a Coach I look forward to as long a career here as Nuffle will allow me, and as a Commishioner I look forward also to as long a career as you will allow me.

When I was new(joined April this year) the whole experience was very new to me. I have been playing TT for years and the idea of playing online was too much to pass up. There have been some AWESOME coaches on here that made me feel very welcome. Just like in real life, some not so nice. Wait till the admins fly to your house for the initiation. We all must give blood to Nuffle. Have fun and I hope to see you around for a long time.

Thanks CastleMan, I hope the bit about flying admins and my house was a joke :O ..I dont own a TT version of the game unfortunately so unless they're bringing one and a team for me to play with against them they are going to be dissapointed lol. My intro to BB was Cyanide but I dont like it much as they keep re-releasing and chargeing - not my idea of fun lmao, especially when the things released should have featured in the original package or at least been added to it over time for a lot less moneyz.

Leagues are the best. When you have a group of guys you can cajole, support, admire and tease all in one place... it is like a fraternity. The relationships make the fluff, and that adds fun to the game regardless of how fickle the dice may be.
