I'm a coward
I played a game, I got solid dice, played conservatively, and minimized my opponents advantage in strength while exploiting his lack of numbers.
It involved all the usual factors, and the attendant excuses, "luck", impossible one die blocks (even when they failed), impossible dodging (even when they failed) and the ever popular second half, turn 5/6 stall on the goal line. My opponent called me a coward and rage quit.
As they say, show me a man who stalls on the goal line, and I'll show you an opponent who F#&$@d up on defense!

Ah yes, well just make sure to pay no heed to the one you played. (No names mentioned, save that I too have faced him and ended up with another addition to my blacklist.)
There are those who take stalling in stride and attempt to make the opponent pay for it. And there are the ones who shout and scream at their own failings in defence. You faced the latter, and while it does happen, fortunately most coaches on FUMBBL have a pair, and take the rage out on you in the game, not in chat.

Rage quitting is an unacceptable response - make sure to complete a support ticket or speak with a security officer in #fumbbladmin so that the coach in question has his behavior corrected.

Yeah,
It is not whining to make a support ticket. If you don't do it, the opponent concerned will simply do it to someone else next time. Filing support tickets is the main way that new coaches learn to follow the FUMBBL etiquette.

It's a problem among newcomers playing with newcomers who aren't used to the rules here. If you stay longer and also play against coaches who have more games, this will almost never happen to you.

Please note that FFB is still in Betatest so unfortunately rage quitting can happen as it is not yet enforced. Most on the site however will play fair.

Forgiveness.
You are forgiven for stalling. Perfectly acceptable game play.
Forgive him for being a baby about the outcome of a game. He could still see the error of his etiquette and come back...
(but yeah - still file a ticket... forgive, but you don't have to forget ;)

It was a Ranked game, so yeah, against the rules, etc.
Stalling is valid, proper, and solid play. Personally, when I'm getting my backside totally handed to me, I'd rather my opponent politely stall out the win than force me to set my players up again like ducks in a shooting gallery ;)
If you want to avoid annoying people when stalling, play briskly, and keep the real-life time from dragging out. No reason to make it painful for the opp who hits "end turn" after moving his 2 remaining guys, by taking a 3-minute turn your self. Screen off a little play-pen for your ball carrier and 1-2 other players and either play catch for spp, or end turn (you know, for those low-AG teams that normally get to stall against 2 remaining players).

Well done, welcome to FUMBBL. Most coaches will be perfectly ok with stalling and the rare exceptions are probably new coaches.

Hehe aye he is an interesting chap. Only person I've ever faced who conceded while playing as dwarves. I was using amazons and his team was the stronger going in. Gave me a good laugh :) and an extra MVP and extra cash. Bit of a win I think!

Yup he conceeded when I was playing him with my flings vs his chaos because things werent going his way.
It doesnt happen very often though, I have probably only seen people conceeding 3 times-ish in my whole time here

I love the way EVERY one says you F%*ked up on defence but every time people stall against me is i ended up having like 3 players left on the pitch, How is that having a F%&ked up defence its just my opponent had good armour and injury rolls.
Also at least he conceded not like a player who i played and just quit and i got nothing! because FFB is in beta test.
