personally i think as you are relatively new i would say block for saftey. then if you get a double again go MB

Tbh, I think the combination of MB+Claw is too good to turn down. If it gets broken - just buy another one ;)

MB always. All other skills are general to make him a very effective blitzer/damage after that.

If you already have a Werewolf for damage then maybe somethings else but I'd probably still for MB!!!

In reality you want your doggies to get stats. They already have access to agility and therefor can be excellent play makers. If you don't get stats be brave with them until they die and try to get stats on a new one.
