Rocksteady, my first (and so far only) legend, just died. Having picked up a -MA and a niggling back injury throughout his lengthy career, he served the team well until his last breath. In a close fought game against baelnic's pygmy team, he racked up yet another casualty to add to his already lengthy list of victims, and his memory was honoured by the team by the award of a posthumous MVP. Rumours that he also formed the centrepiece of the post-match buffet abound. His death came in turn 15, when a particularly daring (/stupid) attempt to salvage a win saw him killed by a Kroxigor. Neither the team's apothecary, nor his regenerative powers, could do anything to save him. Sadly, he failed to see the team's centenary, falling just 3 matches short.

On the other hand, the team's coach has gained in experience (if nothing else) since the team's formation, and there is hope that a replacement, with different skills, will lead to a turnaround in the team's none too illustrious record. Onwards and upwards. Blood and pies for the bloody pie god!
