Argonian Maids
New Year Announcement 14/12/18 With the season over and the year coming to an end, the Argonian Maids coaching staff would like to announce the lineup for next season. With the hopes the experienced side will be able to hold there own next season. The Argonian Maids plan to finish closer to the top of the ladder in DIBBL 15. Season Over 14/12/18 The playoff chances came to an abrupt halt as the Maids failed to get through the League Invasion Cube 001. Left licking there wounds the Argonian Maids will be rethinking there game plans and training during the off season. With the plan to return for another season of DIBBL they hope to be able to make more of an impact. The Wobbly Boot 13/12/18 The Week off did not help the Maids outclassed in there 2-3 loss to Overly Refined. This did mean they ended the regular season as Not Last However they do have a chance for redemption as they are now in the running for the Wobbly Boot. Fist up they have to get through the League Invasion Cube 001. With the Cube wanting to assimilate the Lizards, the Maids will be fighting to stay in one piece and get through to the next round. A potential re-match against the Slaan Francisco 69er's is on the table. The 69er's are keen to get revenge for their humiliating defeat to the Maids earlier in the season. Exciting times ahead for the Lusty Lizards. The Maids Fall Flat 28/11/18 A disappointing game by the Argonian Maids against Waka Warpfire. Luckily, they have a bi this week to recover and retrain in the hopes of causing an upset for their final game of the season against Overly Refined. Overly Refined do come in as the favourites and are expected to win 3-1. The Maids have managed to keep their full line up intact for the season and are already looking towards the next. Defeat from the jaws of victory 19/11/18 Having missed out on the chance to have a go at the Lambhurly shield the Maids went into the game a bit apprehensive. With Necro Dance Party' scoring early Kandy ended up with the ball off the kick off. She then managed to get her second carrier touchdown. With a comfortable lead and the possession of the ball the maids were in the running to win the match. However with a ghoul just in range to blitz the ball carrier the maids lost all chance to pull out the win and ended with the draw. The next match will be up against Waka Warpfire who have been struggling this season. Can the Maids recover from this draw to pull out the win or will they choke again? Celebration! 05/11/18 Pulling in the first win of the season the Maids find themselves off the bottom of the table. Destiny pulled out her usual star performance scoring a touchdown and throwing a pass to get the third. She was however overshadowed by Kandy the Krox, who managed to intercept a pass and run the ball in for a touchdown. The final score was an impressive 3-0. The Maids will be watching the shield clash between Necro Dance Party and Talabheim Timelords. If Necro Dance Party’ manage to defend their title, the Maids will get a shot at the coveted Lambhurly Shield. Caught In Time 02/11/18 A game of two halves is the best way to describe this match. The Maids received in the first half and managed to KO a lot of the Timelords players. Anistasia managed to slip through the defense and score around turn 6. This left the timelords a few turns to equalise. The Maids defense was to great and the half ended 1-0. Come the second half. The Timelords receive and manage to put a few of the maids in the bin. Luckily they managed to pull in a wandering Apo who revived Ginger, Angel also suffered a serious injury but the team doctor put her back together. Down in numbers the Maids conceded an early touchdown. In the second drive of the half the timelords managed to hit Harold while he had the ball. Unable to recover from the rushing humans the Maids conceded there second touch down to lose the match. With that out of the way, Destiny will be returning to the field against the Slaan Franciso 69ers. The Skink Off 25/10/18 A mirror match for the ages. The maids went up against the infamous Crouching Saurus Hidden Skink. A hidden Skink managed to score early in the first half. The Maids were unable to pick up the ball in the resulting drive. The star destiny managed to score in the second half to tie the game. The Crouching Saurus managed to score the winning touchdown in the resulting drive ending the Maids hope of a draw. The Beginning 14/09/18 This is where it all starts for the Maids. The team has been put together and the first pre-season game is about to kick off. Starting off with a mild pre-season the Maids decided to join the DIBBL Leeg Season 14. They have found themselves as favorites for last place. Being drawn into the rather aggressive Greyii Division the Maids hope to survive and get themselves off the bottom of the table.
