I'd like it and join with one of my teams from time to time! |

it has been said many times, by admins, that Black Box is a giant Smack all the time with random opponents |

Well apart from the lack of Big inducements and knowing your opponent in advance. |

I'd certainly appreciate the chance to go totally random once a week - bring on the big inducements!

On-demand tourneys in B would be awesome. How about this for an idea:
Have a Scheduled Smack-style tourney that is drawn weekly, but where the TW limit isn't known until after applications close. So, on Wednesday evening close applications, then make a roll to decide the threshold (1000 + (d10 x 100) TW perhaps), then create tourneys from the teams who applied that were under the threshold.
Would be in keeping with the B 'randomness' concept and would make it impossible to pimp teams up in advance. Also might encourage bigger TV gaps between teams, so more of the higher-value inducements. |

Sorry, I don't see the point of smacks in B. |

Yeah lets get scheduled Smacks in [B]. And lets get an optional scheduler in [R]. And let [B] play in [R] tournaments. While we are at it, lets allow [B] teams to choose their games sometimes, like [R] teams do. But make sure we keep both divisions separate. |

Yes you do. Your just proposing how to continue doing so. |

Easy guys. The point would be to give some people an objective in B, a purpose, an opportunity to "PEAK" a team at a TV and see how it fairs. And of course an oppertunity to WIN something silly without being clawpomb. As it is, B is endless, goal-less, with the AV9 claw teams at the top of the division PEAKING all of the time. It sounds like a fun idea, and it just needs a volunteer to run, right? Grod, was there a logical argument against, or just grumbling? |

May have said it before, but what I'd like is...
An extra checkbox next to each team on the activate page labelled 'smack'. Maybe there all the time, maybe only certain times. If you select it and then OK, maybe a popup could say 'warning, if you enter a smack you must have time to play 2 games now'.
Then if the scheduler finds 8 coaches with that box ticked, a smack is born |

Doh
No need for ma popup then...
TBH in the unlikely event of this being implemented, I leave it to the wisdom of the big man as to what sort of tournament you get the option, of, ahem, Smacktivating for. |
