Lots of awesome BBCode player, team and group bios can be seen all around fummbl. Many of them are shown in the Inspiring BBCode Bios forum threat. Unfortunately for the less gifted, the pieces of code are scattered, difficult to find or simply not accessible.

This thread aims to be a compilation of BBCode bios where anyone can easily check the source code of each bio. For this, we'll be using the notes feature and the public capabilities christer added to it. Anyone who wants to share their code, just copy-paste it into a note, add the [bbcode][/bbcode] tags at the beggining and end of it so it doesn't compile, set it to public and paste it in this thread. I'll keep all the codes with a link to the bio/group in the second post of this thread.

Thats nice but can't compare to the CFFL Group page done by the Whatball itself!

Funnerest league EVER! at the very least its easy to follow.

That group page is so good it physically disgusts me. I try to avoid it.

Rigtheous Social Club

Well, I'm still developing it and have already put maybe hundert hours for the icons used for the fluff.

Basically the idea was to use an old map of Rome. Cut it into different pieces and use them as toggle buttons.
Actually you can see that the map fragments have different sizes. If you try to code all the buttons together, means one after the other, you will not have a combined map fitting back to original picture!

The clue was to use FLOATCONTAINER! Coding first 3 toggles in a FLOATLEFT, than the 2 big ones with a FLOATRIGHT and afterwards a FLOATALIGNE for the 3 center toggles.

The rest is a very basic use of BBCode.

It's looking quite good so far Smile it works funny when you "unclick" one of the images. If you update the note as the bio progresses, the link will still be valid and updated.

Yeah, I know about it, simply didn't find time to fix this, but i made it now by editing a img with exact amount of px before the first floatconatiner!
in this case 856 px long 1 px high!
So you have a exactly defined witdh of your bio...

Here's my latest work

It doesn't look overly fancy compared to some, but technically it took a bit of work and I think I laid it out so it's quite easy to understand.

Bio
Code

edit: Also, I don't think we'll see a bio to top the Vault Tec Squad for years.

Here's my latest.

It's not the most sophisticated of Bios, mainly a load of toggles.
I couldn't figure out how to do some of the stuff I wanted to do, but it should hopefully amuse some Python fans out there.

Monty Pythons Dying Circus

Code
