Not sure if i remember right but isn't there a thing now where you cant build natural OTT machines. If so my (and everyone elses) +MA sprint gutter runner needs some work. |

Norse dominate low TV
They have blanket block when everybody else apart from dorfs has very limited core skills.
Then when others start skilling up and bridge the block gap, Norse already have some guard, a blodge carrier, effective surfers.
It's when you reach mid-hi TV that cheap, effective, expendable Norse start to suffer. Case in point: Norse is a forlorn race, never won a major. |

Thanks for this explanation. So it just appears that newly minted "Legends" that have to lose a skill are hit a bit harder than the ones that have been living that life for a while. Tough to say whether he'll be worth saving at the ridiculous TV he's at or not... but we'll see |

Not sure if you've already identified this, but my High Elf Thrower currently has Strong Arm, and it converts straight across (team ID 933061);
4 Tresemme Thrower->Thrower (100k)
Previous SPP total: 37
SPP progress: 6 SPP beyond the previous level (31)
Equivalent to 30% to the next level (51)
Dodge -> Dodge (Agility) +20k
Strong Arm -> Strong Arm (Strength) +40k
Accurate -> Accurate (Passing) +20k
Number of skills: 3, 16 SPP for next chosen primary
Unspent SPP: 16*30% = 5 SPP
Player Cost 180k
I'm guessing this should be Cannoneer, or failing that, he drops a level. |

Didin't have any issues when converting my teams, although there will be tears, when my vampires need to redraft XD
about 1,2 M to draft, team value 2,1 M...
Second most expensive player on the team is a thrall, and even that is only by 10k - that str + ag is such an expensive combination
And actually 2 out of the top 4 most expensive players are thralls, because it was the time before PA 5+

I read in the rulebook that strong arm in BB2020 is not only a strength skill (it already was...) but now it is only allowed on players with throw team mate and only works on throw team mate actions. So how could it stay on high elf throwers? |

My treeman: "Block is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. Grab is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. Guard is no longer a valid choice and will be removed." I don't understand why block grab and block are no longer valid? He turns into a rookie tree without skills...
On my Linos: "Block is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. Dodge is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. Wrestle is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. Side Step is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. " --> Wood Elf Linos can not be bodgesteppers anymore? Help?
On the war dancer: "Frenzy is no longer a valid choice and will be removed. Tackle is no longer a valid choice and will be removed."
So it looks like all skills will be removed and the team is turned into rookies. Am I missing something? |

I tried a couple of teams just recently and all the players converted to 0 SPP, no matter their skills/stats. |

I think it will turn out somewhere in the middle. In the past yes Norse have been a good low TV team. They still will be against many sides, BUT with the new dynamic I can see a lot of Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf and Orc sides appearing. If Norse have to play lots of those they aren't so good - e.g. dwarfs also have tons of Block but AV9 instead of 7, the Norse Dauntless is wasted, frenzy gets you into trouble against lines of guards... a slight movement advantage of course but hard to make that count. They will be playable of course but not as good as before - will suffer from a lot of bash match-ups I think and the attrition with repeated games against those sides may also hurt. |
