A sad day for the raiders
First off hi! This is my first of hopefully many blogs to chronical the fortune and miss fortune of my teams.
My favorite team at the moment are my Khemri - Former raiders of the lost ark. Sure they are bashy and I gather from some IRC responses not everyone likes the bashy teams, but I love the slow drive games rather than the 2turn TD games flingy teams have.
They have been doing alright so far bashing there way to victory or draws on many occasion, but today a sad event occured, on reaching 30Spp's one of my Mummys suffered -1 stength rendering his role in the team useless. I found it hard to retire him instantly and played him for one more game to get him that last spp in the hope he would role +1strength. Unfortunatly this was not the case and he was forced to a coaching role.
Thanks to hording alot of cash I was able to replace the mummy instantly and look forward to causing more havok with the new guy!

Just because elves and the like can easily score in two turns, doesn't mean you have to. Elves stalling for 8 turns against a bashy team can be a thing of beauty.

Word of advice: you should have fired the -STR mummy even if he HAD rolled +STR. It's an extra...4(?)...5(?) TR added onto your team and it uses up a skill on the most important players of the team.

It would hurt more to have a wasted +ST on a guy with -ST. You can get the equivalent by hiring a rookie, and if that rookie gets +ST, then he becomes a beast.

Good job retiring its not that easy really for everyone :) Took me a good 500 matches to learn it and about 1500 matches to fully master it :)
Age does suck though on player like mummies, Black orcs and flesh golems since the skill up so slow, on the brightside the mummy is the easiest one of the 3 to skill up again!
