4 L Games in a Day? Fancy a Mini-Tournament?
Everybody Enjoys League games.
How much interest would there be in reoccurring "blitz" style [L] tournaments?
Could be on a Saturday or Sunday, or even a few weekday evenings (server time) in a row?
Could be single or double elimination KO. Swiss style with a Grand Final. Whatever.
Ideally, three-five games.
A timeframe for a single day might be:
Game 1 @ 1pm Bbtime.
Game 2 @ 4pm BBtime.
Game 3 @ 7pm BBtime.
Grand Final & other final matches @ 10pm BB time.
You could even win a selection of badly drawn pictures that I'll knock together in photoshop!
TV limits would be in place. So, for example, the first one might be freshly punched 1000 TV teams only. The next might tickle that up to 1100 TV, or some other arguable number.
However, we'd need a spot of fluff - because fluff makes you 4% healthier and 11% better in bed. So I would like to arbitrarily enforce a team naming policy that would work like this [Team comes from][Team name] i.e. Sylvania Storm, Reikland Ruin, Lahmia Lobsters. And no naming players "Danger Horse 3000" or any such nonsense.
If I can get eight fine folks to agree on a date, we'll see how it turns out. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Then feel free to completely steal the idea and set one up in your own timezone mate. I'll even share any terribly drawn images so that you can use them.

Just what is wrong with Danger Horse 3000? I think that's a fine name for a player. Sounds like a Bull Centaur to me.

I'd be totally up for this, but not sure what dates I could do yet - something around 21st or 22nd Dec sounds promising.
