Well, my humble thanks to all of you here. Even though my sympathies go out to all the families of the goats you all must have sacrificed for my benefit I'm really happy with the way things turned out. Just to give you an idea on how rediculously lucky we got:

7:30 - Wake up to the sound of rain. Rain continues for a bit
10:00 - Time to fetch bride. Rain stops and she opens the door looking so good I for once was lost for words. Enter house. Rain starts
11:00 - All dressed up, fed, and ready for the photoshoot. Rain Stops
13:00 - Fotoshoot done, rain starts again. Drive home very slowly because of poor sight. Rain continues for a bit
15:00 - Leave home to head for the marriage location in the enduring rain
15:40 - Arrive at wedding location, Rain stops
15:50 - As we enter the castle it starts pissing down again and the rain continues all the way through the ceremony
16:45 - We leave the castle for a champaign toast in the ground, under a nice bright sun (!)
17:45 - As it's time to go back inside to start dinner it starts raining. HARD
20:00 and onwards - Nice dry and cool summer evening so the party is both inside and outside.
04:00 - Fall headfirst into bed and wonder how the hell we got so lucky

I have only one explanation. Nuffle is real!

I'm sure I'll pay a huge price for this one time blessing in my coming matches, but I'll take this break anyway I can get it.
