Former Faction Legend Kroxi Finally gets an Interception!
Game Report

Nemeton trotted out for his 150th game buoyant after Coach Dalfort's previous two games had been a portent of good fortune due to land at his feet. The Elves on the opposite side of the field had a twinkle in their eyes as they whispered to each other their upcoming plays. With an exhibition feel buzzing around the crowd the Elves danced around the reptiles at will leaving them dazed and bewildered with their quick moves and perfectly practised tactical displays.

Undeterred by the obvious class difference in the teams, Nemeton bravely pursued the ball and improving his already impressive Stat scores. Try as he might to launch some passes to his diminutive teammates the ball was just not playing ball and he took to running up the pitch whilst the Elves entertained the crowd with self preservation positioning and some well aimed blocking practise on some Saurus on the other side of the pitch.

The game entered the second half and Nemeton's time was fast approaching, the crowd enjoying every play (especially Sebastion's selective boot placing!) the party atmosphere helping to lift his game to the next level. Of course the Feebles Variety Hour had everything under control the whole time and even started teasing the Kroxi near the end of the game, to their surprise (and everyone elses!) he managed to pluck the ball out of the air, not just once but TWICE!

Massive thanks to Motskari for playing in the spirit of my team, the Feebles take their ELF games very seriously but were obliging enough to play for the crowd and adulation but be warned fellow coaches I do not* see them being this frivolous again any time soon!

Edit: missed the very important word "not" out... sorry :P

Just sad that the big guy was only missing aCAS for the Larsen.

:) I really wanted to come over to Nottingham for that but life pfft! Glad it went well though and hope there is another one in the future.

@Razmus, MVP went to a Skink as well but I did try for the MVP on him :D

@Sp00keh I started out playing in Faction which was an extremely competitive division and I soon realised my "true skill" level was woefully inadequate to compete. So early on I discovered the Top 25 (then Top 10) Lists and so he was played specifically to get on them, he managed to be the Top Divisional Lizardman Kroxi in 10 of the 11 categories only missing Interceptions and there were several coaches that tried to help out ;) The experience did teach me that there are a lot of different "win" conditions, certainly enough to go round :)
